However, there's no "Add to Cart" button underneath the images, so don't be fooled that they have some of these back in stock.
Not sure:

2 possibilities come to mind

1) the site is just being so overwhelmed it can't keep up with removing all the titles (or keeping them off).

2) as the orders are being processed - some are being declined/cancelled for various reason -- bad CC, bad buyer with history or issues, ?? if TT is trying to keep out certain notorious resellers or limit shipping to max of a single title so as cancellations are processed, more stock may be returned. Several titles have gone OOS then a few hrs or next day a few copies to nearly 100 show up for sale again (Stanley and Iris, and Greenwich Village went back to nearly 100 copies).

Just looking at the titles added back, almost all the OOS Titles were items that went OOS on Monday and Tues. There are a couple that went OOS Sunday and a group of titles from Monday that all went OOS around the same time. It like they reverted the Listed items to aroung 3-4 am ET Monday, but based on current IN STOCK buttons. Except for those 7-8 times from a few hrs Monday evening it's makes almost a nice pat answer, but not quite.

I was gonna comment about the site being weird, but I'm glad things were made somewhat clear.

I mean, both labels use the same, old, masters and the encoding differences is minuscule for the majority of them.

Same here; I made my Twilight Time order early Monday morning (got The Doll of Satan, The Boston Strangler, and Whirpool). On Tuesday, I ordered Peyton Place from Screen Archives. My copy of Peyton Place shipped today, but my Twilight Time order is still pending. I think they are just overwhelmed with orders.

I have both the Arrow & the TT Bananas. They both look identical, but TT has the isolated music score, which is one of the all-time greats IMO.

Thanks for the respectful response, unlike certain others here. My statement was kind of in response to receiving both emails from TT and then from SAE this morning -- In their email, SAE *also* claimed:

"With this massive influx of orders since Sunday's notice, our warehouse is inundated with pending shipments, and will take a week or so to catch up orders from Sunday, and add in an extra day or two for each subsequent days orders placed. All orders are being shipped out in the order received..."

So considering I ordered from TT on Sunday eve, and not from SAE until Monday afternoon...it's impressive that the SAE went out so quickly, so yeah...I think that's kinda "funny." So sue me.

Not complaining, not trying to create an issue, just interesting.

Pretty much ASSUMING their inventory numbers are true.

For those who don't mind a mess of numbers and all just for fun since I'm bored with no Live Sports to obsess over and it keeps me off the streets and away from the dealers
[Show spoiler]
I had just updated my spreadsheet on May 2 as a beginning of the month list -- 81000 discs
I updated it on the 9th to check how the 1st 10 for 115 sale and had 79000 discs and around 168-170 titles

After all the craziness from Sunday evening through wee hours Tuesday (36 hrs more or less) -- 37000+ left with 88 titles left

Tues -- approx 5000 units sold. 6 more OOS
Wed -- approx 2000-2500 today (29500 left). 4 more OOS and 4 on life support with less than 10 units

I wish I had a clean count from Feb 28 when the March Madness sale started, but they had around 192 BD and approx 95-100,000K disc based on the numbers I had and approx the general sales of discs from the early part of the sale.

In general for the first 70 days of the sale they averaged around 250-300 disc sold per day. That does fit the general slow sales of discs outside that first couple weeks and realizing they were sharing a mostly equivalent sale at SAE who had 220 titles. The largest number of discs sold from those i was tracking was a little over 200 in the first couple months. There were multiple titles on Sunday/Monday who sold that number in a few hours or even an hour. There were several that sold 300-400 units and sold out by 3am Monday. I was sure those just had to be errors, but none have returned so maybe that was correct.

So far I have a a few titles that sold 800+ copies since Sunday night until they sold out. Lawman appears to be the most likely disc to get 900+ - 720 and counting and still 200 copies left. I'm not sure we'll get a 1000 unit seller since the crazy buyers seem to have left. Three Coins in the Fountain is around 650 thanks in part to the $5 Bonus but that expires in a couple days. Bandolero seems to be the next most likely -- a western with a great cast, 600 units sold, and over 400 left in the tank

By the way, guess what I recorded last week when it played on TCM? A Modern Hero! I haven't had time to watch it yet, but I'm a fan of both Richard Barthelmess and Marjorie Rambeau, so I know I'm going to enjoy it.
I like Barthelmess too. Heros For Sale, The Last Flight, and The Finger Points are a few of his I really enjoy. Richard Dix is another who had a pretty good run in the early ‘30s after transitioning from the silent era.

Cheers to Twilight Time for your fabulous work in restoring and providing great movies over the years on blu-ray.

I for one will miss your company, and the isolated soundtracks you offered on each and every release.

Hariseldon, here's another data point for you that I posted earlier in the thread. My order number from Sunday morning and my order number from Wednesday morning have a gap of about 7300 between them. If we assume the average order has 5 titles in it (which doesn't seem unreasonable), then we're looking at 36,500 discs sold over a 72-hour period. If that number jumps to 10 per order (again, not unreasonable, given the 10 for $115 discount), we're looking at 73,000 units sold.

If 73K is anywhere close to right, then I guess the inventory numbers likely aren't correct. 10 items would seem a reasonable aver order, but if both that and 7500 orders are correct something is missing

All for fun anyway.

Got the shipping notice e-mail today, so I figured I better get my order in before they sell out. Got Moscow on the Hudson, Auto Focus, Who'll Stop the Rain and The Chairman.

Thank you Twilight Time for putting out 2 of my favorite films of all time: Mississippi Burning and La Bamba.

Just got an email notice that they're out of stock/I missed out on 'A Prayer for the Dying' over in my initial Sunday order at TT. Hope the rest of the order sticks. They had such a rush, it's no surprise that there will be discrepancies... I think it's still available at SAE, but it's not quite worth it to me when I've already picked up everything else I wanted.

I went ahead and bought 4 titles from Twilight Time (via Screen Archives) just now:

Angel (1982) $4.95
Eureka (1983) $14.95
Moscow on the Hudson (1984) $8.95
Resurrected (1989) $4.95

They all happened to be from the 1980s too! (My favorite decade)

Just some additional numbers for anyone interested in analysis:

Made two orders at TT on Sunday night, just over one hour separated.

If the "Order #s" are accurate in terms of how many orders they took, just in that one hour period between my two orders, they had nearly 500 orders.

OK, so I'm curious...if one ordered ten $11.95 titles, and thus got the 10-4-115 deal, and then by the time they start processing your order, at least one of those is no longer available, do you get screwed out of the deal, or do they allow you to substitute a different (and available) title? Not that it'd be a significant loss, as the deal is only a 45¢ savings per title. As I said, I'm curious.
