Surely, you didn't post in this thread without reading any of it?
Give the guy a break, he would have to read about 20 pages back in the thread to find the last time anyone explained it. Here was the explanation:

This has never worked for me though, so apparently it's not guaranteed (I don't know if it's a browser issue or what).

Move it from your cart to the wishlist and try it again. It will sometimes give you a different number. I don't know how accurate it is though.

Also people, try to be careful when you do this. I have a feeling that this is the reason there were so many cancelled purchases of Christine on the original sale date. People would put a bunch of copies in their cart, see they were running out, try to delete the copies, and rush through checkout as quickly as possible without double checking the numbers. Only after the purchase they noticed they bought way too many copies because they deleted the wrong amount. At least 1 person did that but I think it was quickly fixed. I wouldn't be surprised if there were more. I am pretty sure the company is pretty annoyed by that type of stuff.

Obviously, open to debate, but The Big Heat is the "jewel" from the list above...deserved a sell out a long time ago.

I guess that will be my next TT pick up as I do not want to miss out. Once the 500 left email goes or one of you fine gentlemen update here that it is less than 500...I'll put in my order.

No rush to do it now as I have over 20 classic movies in Blu yet to be watched including: Experiment in Terror, On the Waterfront, The Lost Weekend, Gate of Hell (UK), Purple Noon, The Quiet Man, Mon Oncle, Night of the Hunter, Ministry of Fear (on its way), ect .

Assuming the numbers were correct, I was going to guess Bye Bye Birdie (418) would be first, though Our Man Flint (732) would be close behind at the rate it's going. The Fury certainly is going at a good clip, but so is Experiment in Terror, which already below 1000. And The Big Heat (630) should go quickly once it gets below 500, as people who were sitting on the fence will realize their chance is running out.

Put 3000 of a movie in your cart, then click update. If that doesn't work, try putting it in your wishlist. The only one for which this method doesn't seem to be working (at least for me) is Song of Bernadette.

Oddly enough that is only working for me on about 5 titles or so. For the rest it allows me to put 3,000 into my cart, all the way to the place order screen.

TT most likely has another stash in the warehouse for Bye Bye Birdie.

I just went back and after adding 3,000 of each, for the ones that didn't update correctly I hit "update" once again and this time it changed everything to the correct total.

And we would have already gotten a 'less than 500 copies remain' announcement. There's probably another 1000 on the way.

Not so sure. The Song of Bernadette preorder mailing suggested buying other TT releases, but didn't have The Egyptian listed with its usual "less than 500 copies remain" caption. The prior SAE mailing directed to buying TT products was the preorder for The Fury and Christine, which did mention Christine was under 500 copies, when more accurately it had already sold out. But at the time of that mailing, Bye Bye Birdie! wasn't yet under 500 copies. If SAE sends out a new mailing and doesn't mention BBB, then I'll consider that evidence that they actually have another stash.

OUR MAN FLINT is a lot of fun, especially the nice CinemaScope picture on a big screen, but I actually liked IN LIKE FLINT even better. Neither is an absolute must-own unless you're really into spy spoofs or 60s pop-culture, but both are highly enjoyable and have tons of bonus features (fairly unusual for TT) that greatly enhance the enjoyment. If you get one, you should certainly get the other! I recently posted user reviews of both.

It was a spambot reposting the underlined section of the following post from 2011.
