The reason that SAE doesn't know is because they haven't been told (no reason for them to have that info until the pre-order goes up)...but the answer is yes, MINDWARP will be uncut.

Do you know what the color timing changes are on Body Double that were mentioned on your facebook page a few months back?

I got my copy! This is the first time I've taken advantage of this kind of promo from TT. Can't wait to see both of these films on blu!

Probably a stupid question, then if i dont ask thats stupid lol anyway i plan to order Hard Time and The Driver if i select "Check this box if you do not want your order held for possible backorders." would that mean that they will ship Hard Times as its in stock and then ship The Driver separately when its is available? Any extra costs? And if i dont check that box then they will both ship when The Driver is out?

Cheers V

Ah of course. Been lucky enough to catch one every so often on Sony Movie Channel or TCM HD; have one on dvr right now, Born Yesterday. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow, um I mean later today. (Hope it didn't get wiped for space.)

I hear ya!

I just received an import DVD from Australia (Drive-In Delirium Vol. 3), featuring 12 hours(!) of trailers, and seeing the trailers for FIRST MEN IN THE MOON, 3 WORLDS OF GULLIVER, GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD, SINBAD AND THE EYE OF THE TIGER, and ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. has, needless to say, whetted my appetite for those films on Blu-Ray!

Here's hoping TT eventually releases them all, as it seems probable that Sony/Columbia won't be releasing any more.

Has Fox (rights holder on ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.) released any vintage genre films on Blu? (Aside from DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, which was included - almost as an afterthought - with the Keanu Reeves version?)

Pre-ordered The Driver - watched it last night (was not planning to, just wanted to catch a few minutes of it on youtube to get a feel for it and before I knew it the end credits were running). Very good film. Cannot wait to rewatch this in HD on the home theater in a few weeks.

Yes! Harryhausen for sure!!

I'm in Australia, and very happy to see that some of the Twilight Time titles are starting to get releases here — much, much cheaper than TT prices plus shipping.

For instance, we have A Journey to the Centre of the Earth coming out in in September (don't know any details yet besides a 1.85:1 AR and DTS-HD MA sound — would love to see an LPCM mono on there as well, but OZ distributors do tend to go for the LCD populist approach, sadly). I'm really hoping for titles like The Blob (the remake), The Fury (though i think Arrow is doing that one in the UK, so that might be the best option) and Leave Her to Heaven.

Anyway. Nothing against Twilight Time; it's just great to know that titles that have gone to them can still have a life in other channels.

No, according to SAE's web site it means they will ship out the in stock items (i.e. Hard Times) and then cancel the rest of the order (i.e. The Driver). You'll have to reorder the preorder / backordered items.

Quote:
11. I have a backordered CD on my order that is holding up the shipment.

If you DO NOT want backorders holding your order please click the “NO BACKORDERS” option before you finalize your order online. We will send what we have in immediate stock. You will need to reorder that missing CD on a future order.

Harryhausen is probably the only thing that could get me to buy a TT title.

If i had to guess I would say it's likely a limitation of SAE's system. They probably don't want to eat the cost of a second shipment and I'm guessing that their system can't handle split orders.

For those who tried to make an order with the autographed copy of Hard Times and had error pages after checkout, be careful and check your account on Screenarchives.

Indeed I just noticed that I had 3 completely "empty" orders on my account and as a result they have lowered the amount available on my credit card!

Actually Day did have a stand alone Blu release. Motto suggest Fox will do the same with many of their vintage titles.

I ordered this (along with Philadelphia) as soon as the pre-order went live, so hopefully mine will ship soon!
