CONRACK was indeed released on VHS and I sold my copy of it for $75 about 6 months ago. phew!

I'm most excited about EQUUS and ALFREDO GARCIA. None of the others interest me except I'll get WILD AT HEART just because I love Lynch.

lol. The Ryan O'Neal 80's gambling movie with the same title came to my mind first. But this one is a romantic comedy baseball flick with Drew Barrymore? eek. That sure came out of left field.

No, it's the 1996 British original film about 'football' starring Colin Firth.

Gosh, if we thought the demand for Christine was bad, Wild At Heart is going to be a nightmare!

None of those for me. Looking forward to ROLLERBALL, however.

I'm probably the only one that will be getting Mr. Hobbs Takes Vacation. I wish someone would step up to the plate with more Jimmy Stewart movies.

I'm definitely in for any Jimmy Stewart film so Mr. Hobbs will be mine. I didn't think Bell, Book and Candle was that great but my love for Jimmy (and Kim Novaks sensual performance) is enough to make it completely watchable.

It might be another 'Royal Flash'... it may very well have a lot of fans but I haven't heard it mentioned in this thread other than its announcement.

Used Cars for definite, Alfredo Garcia if it offers more than the European issue. Nothing else I'd pay money for, even though I like Broadway Danny Rose (the "some guy shot him in the eyes" dialogue always makes me laugh). Wild At Heart will only sell if its the uncut version as the censored version is available cheap in Europe

You are not alone. A great Jimmy Stewart outing, which I have enjoyed since I first saw it in the theater as a kid. Happy Thanksgiving!

There won't be any demand from me as I am fine with my UK import. However, I will buy Used Cars as I have not seen it in ages.

If Wild at Heart is the uncut version, I'll be all over it. Hope it's not, in a way, as demand will be crazy. (I secretly hope it is)

I would LOVE The Glen Miller Story. My old laserdisc is the only release that has the proper aspect ratio. The dvd is cropped on top and bottom.

These will be mine!

EQUUS (1977)
ALL THE KING'S MEN (1949)
USED CARS (1980)
Maybe. These have been on my watch list for ages.

CONRACK (1974)
Interesting premise. Possibly a diamond in the rough, but I'll wait for some reviews.

I have been waiting for Used Cars for months. Its a shame I have to wait a couple more months for it. Hopefully it gets an amazing transfer and commentary with Russel and Zimmeckis.
