Warner still has a long list of big classic titles yet to be released. Hardly any Cagney, Robinson, Berkely or Davis films have come out. Plus some big ones from the 50's and 60's are still missing (not counting the MGM or RKO titles they acquired)

I agree. The list is huge and one can only cross their fingers and hope that they'll release them themselves. I can't see myself paying TT prices for all but a very select few, but it would be "nice to have" a whole bunch of them, if the price is reasonable.

Anyone know if TT has sent out any hints about a possible Punch Drunk Love release. I remember hearing a year and a half ago that supposedly a Punch Drunk Love blu-ray was in the works (straight from Paul Thomas Anderson's mouth) with I assume at the time a Sony release, but with the way they treat catalog titles I'm guessing this will never happen since no news or rumors have surfaced since.

I don't know. All I know is around the time The Master came out a Paul Thomas Anderson website ran something about how a Punch Drunk Love blu-ray was in the works. I would assume that if this was true, that by this point a transfer would be done, and now Sony is sitting on it and waiting to license it out to somebody for release.

I think it was a title some believed Criterion would be releasing, I just wish it would get a BLU release. At this point who knows.

Hopefully this and Hard Eight can get a release since Paul Thomas Anderson should have a new movie coming out this year.

Is The Eddy Duchin Story going to be 2.35 or 2.55? SA shows 2.35 but I know it was 2.55. The trailer makes this obvious.

I can not wait for Used Cars and The Blob. Blind preordered Thunderbolt and Lightfoot because it was Eastwood and Bridges and bank robbery with a 7.0 rating on IMDB. I really hope I am able to get one copy of the Blob in October, it will probably sell out within hours.

Well with The Blob, just make sure you're near a computer when the preorder goes up and have a little money handy on your CC and you shuold be okay.
