I don't know if you have seen the film or if it's something that you'd like, but The Blue Lagoon is exquisite!!
Great score and great landscapes that are benefited very much by the Bluray presentation!!
It's one of my favourite films (since I had seen it also in my childhood)

also i simply LOVE this Bluray trailer:

The Blue Lagoon was a bit of a staple on TV for me back in the 1980s. I have never seen it in a proper presentation. I suspect it would be a whole different experience watching the TT Blu. It is one of those titles I have kept passing on at $29.99; but at $19.99 I think I just might bite.

I've always been a vocal advocate for Rapture, and possibly my favorite thing about this recent sale is seeing how many people are getting around to picking it up.

It sounds like the best movie of the bunch that's on sale, I look forward to seeing it. My recommendation would be "Experiment in Terror," it's sort of over-the-top sadistic thriller but the style of it is incredible (both the camerawork and the score). It's the only one of the sale movies I bought at full price in the past

I've always walked away unimpressed from Blake Edwards movies (at least from a directing standpoint), so I'm not sure if this would be blind buy material for me. I am certainly curious about it though. Good to keep in mind, thanks for the recommendation.

Went ahead and placed an order for Broadway Danny Rose (it's going to get REAL expensive for me if they managed to get all the MGM/UA Woody Allen films like they hoped), Used Cars, The Other and Wild At Heart. I have the Japanese Blu-Ray of the latter, but I'll see if TT's release offers an improvement at all. If not, I'm sure I can sell it down the road.

You tell me, when a round of limited edition scores comes out, is there the same kind of feeding frenzy that there appears to be with the TT blu-rays?
I know I'm not the first one to reply back, but you'd be wrong. It's just like with TT's releases. Some film scores don't sell out, some sell out rather quickly. For example, a 6-disc set of Henry Manfredini's music for the first 6 Friday The 13th films sold out in less than 24 hours.

Look at it this way, SAE and these labels like La La Land Records have been around for quite a while; LONG before Twilight Time started releasing products. They obviously had to have been making money in order to have stuck around.

Ordered BONJOUR TRISTESSE and THE EDDY DUCHIN STORY (not on sale, and a blind buy for me). Hope I like the latter.

I'm considering the following four blind-buys:

Rapture
Swamp Water
Experiment in Terror
The Other

In the past few pages, I have read a lot of praise for Rapture and Experiment in Terror. But, what about Swamp Water and The Other? Are they safe blind buys for a noir / old-school (i.e. psychological) horror fan?

I've never seen Swamp Water, but The Other and Experiment In Terror should be safe buys under that description.

Per the TT Facebook page, they expect Experiment in Terror to possibly sell out during this sale.

I was wondering which one would last longer this year - Experiment in Terror blu-rays, or Candlestick Park itself.

Definitely picking up Broadway Danny Rose. I really want to pick up Wild At Heart being a huge lynch fan but I already have the original UK release.... I doubt the PQ will be much better to justify a double dip.......

I would Definitely recommend The Other, as well as Experiment in Terror Both are fantastic transfers of Great movies. The Other is can best be discribed as a mix of The Omen + Rosemary's Baby

I pre-ordered Wild at Heart too I might have better picture quality as Twilight Time is now has a history of some really good work as far as Encoding goes.

I don't have the Imported Disc I always try and wait for U.S. releases because most of the time they are not far off from International ones. any way I am glad I waited because That inside cover artwork is AMAZING

Thanks for the feedback and recommendations.

I just ordered:
Blue Lagoon
Experiment In Terror (did some more reading here and it looks right up my alley)
Rapture
Swamp Water
Sexy Beast

and I snagged Laura which I have wanted to get for some time.

This will tide me over for a bit. Will be getting All The Kings Men for sure at some point.

I would definitely encourage anyone on the fence to purchase THE RAPTURE. THE WAYWARD BUS is another TT release that doesn't get the attention it deserves. For those who have seen it, is PONY SOLDIER with the nearly $25? I like Tyrone Power, but the movie's plot does not interest me.
