I want all of the MGM Truffaut films in HD so I hope they eventually release them all. Obviously, I don't expect them all to be released at once but this would be terrific.

If I remember correctly, the last 2 times the Home Theatre Forum announced the new Twilight Time titles first. In other words, they were given the scoop first.

Imagine how crazy the site will be when that goes on sale again.

I might blindly pick up Wind when I buy Birdman next month. It sounds pretty interesting.

Thumbs up

After reading posts and so forth , unless they pull a fast one Fright Night should be one of the announcements. And they hinted at a Hammer title which after reading TT comments appears to be Hound of the Baskervilles..
Those two alone are very much worth getting excited for

Can't speak to the reliability....but DVD NewsFlash is reporting the Fright Night re-release will be January 21st, 2015

Think it'll be today, or do you think it'll be during that podcast appearance?

Excellent and informative KillerPOV podcast with Nick Redman.

Some titles confirmed as future TT releases: The Bride Wore Black, Zardoz and I believe Nic Roeg's Eureka.

Eureka is an interesting film. I can't say I loved it but I didn't hate it either. I think it gave Theresa Russell a good performance no pun intended. I think her great role was in Roeg's Bad Timing. I would purchase Eureka.

Eureka is a great film, at least until the last half hour or so. Probably his last really good film, even with the horribly stagey, poorly written, poorly acted last act. The first part of the movie definitely seems to have had an influence on the first 10 minutes of There Will Be Blood.

And this is why I think TT is so great; Zardoz will sell maybe 50 copies in the first year (one of which will be to me ), maybe another 50 copies the second year, then they'll be stuck with the other 2900 copies in their warehouse until their 100 year shelf life is up! I mean, who in their right mind thinks that movie is worth watching, let alone spend (gasp) $3x.xx on?

I'm also happy to hear they'll be releasing The Fabulous Baker Boys, and Bird Man of Alcatraz.

Every movie has fans regardless of perceived or actual quality and worthiness. I clued in long ago not to knock other people's tastes in something as subjective as films and music.
