Some titles confirmed as future TT releases: The Bride Wore Black, Zardoz and I believe Nic Roeg's Eureka.
Thank you for this (I skipped forward to get to the Redman segment).

THE ST VALENTINE’S DAY MASSACRE (1967)

One out of eleven saves me $$$ !

SVDM has been a favorite since I saw it in the theater, 1967, 8 years old.

Another DVD for the BuyBacks pile.

Yikes. I'm in for 4, maybe 6 of these titles. The two Woody Allens for sure, Breaking Away, TSVDM, and possibly To Sir With Love and Stormy Weather. TSVDM is the real surprise. Truly under-rated in my opinion. George Segal plays such a wonderful SOB, and the faux-documentary lead-in "today, on the last day of his life ..." always gets to me.

My two favorite Woody Allens - and both the laserdisc and DVD of Love and death were so poor it'll be great to finally have a decent transfer.

Hooray for Breaking Away, and hoping that The Bride Wore Black will be the first of many Truffauts.

The 3000 limit thing means either stress for people hoping to get all the popular titles they want before they sell out and/or before the scalpers snap them all up, OR having to pay a premium price for some of the crappier titles that would otherwise be found in a Wal-Mart discount bin for $5 if released by their parent studios. I'm really curious about the movie Che! and will likely snap it up eventually but, man, $30 for a film that is by all accounts terrible sure stings a bit.

However, if the option is Twilight Time or someone else, then someone else is preferable. I mean The Great Train Robbery which I bought for $15 from Kino Lorber could so easily have been a TT sellout at twice the price.
Yes, pretty much. The point is I'd rather Kino or Shout release a title because it will be cheaper, available longer and will probably contain more features. I'll still go with Twilight if they're the only option, but would prefer someone else.

In any rational human discussion this wouldn't be a point of contention, but hey, it's the internet.
