I think people have not recognised the difference between a distributor (TT) and a retailer (SAE). No retailer would destroy copies they had in stock simply because the distributer no longer had a licence for the title.

My order is $65.20 for the new TT releases.
I guess the DVD is out of print, I'm just going to make a combo pack with mine.

My bad, but I wanted to order Bell, Book, and Candle at some point anyways. Might as well have been with several others.

Anybody checked the amount remaining on "Journey" and "Moon?" Curious about the predictions of quick sell-outs.

I order my TT titles on promo day so I have been given several free titles for all the money I've spent.

Same here. A free title for every 4 bought isn't bad at all.

I'm glad you're happy with your "cheapy JTTCOTE," but I'm really hoping that the 4K remaster makes you want to upgrade it. Keeping my figures crossed it's as good as it should be.

Anyone know when the next promo is? I'm hoping Journey, First Men, and Leave Her will still be available then.

There is no longer any way to check until a title reaches less than 50 copies, other than a low quantity alert being issued.

Thanks. Didn't know that. Thought the old fill your basket trick still worked. Guess not especially with the 3 disc limitation.

The thought of shelling out $30 and change for the new 4K remaster of Journey to the Center of the Earth when I already own the Australian Blu-ray did break my heart a little bit, but I caved in and pre-ordered yesterday.

I ultimately decided that, if we can get a more detailed image for the below scene, then the double-dip will be more than worthwhile...

And you, my friend must be the TSOD. (Twilight Supreme Oil Dude). And, as always, many thanks for the work you do with this thread. Sure makes my life easier.

Thanks my friend but I believe there is a little bit of HIM in each and every one of us; and clearly you already recognised that oildude is the MAN. I just happen to enjoy great films and Twilight Time offers so many of them. Normally I don't participate in this thread often because it gets both tiring and boring reading all of the negative comments being thrown at TT.

Fortunately there hasn't been nearly as much as that as there was a year or two ago.

Check in every Monday afternoon. If they have one, it will be on a Wednesday at 4:00 pm Eastern. They have been giving two days notice of it, so Monday we would know if it's going to happen on a given week. And it will not happen anymore on pre-order week, so you can rule that week out.

If you have 118, then you are missing 12 (as of this set of pre-orders, and assuming you're not counting the initial batch of DVDs). Are those 12 among the OOP titles that you didn't manage to snag, or are they simply titles that you just didn't want, or a mix of both?

Just curious.
