The original release date was the 10th, they have stated the discs would be shipping late, today is the 11th 😳

For what it's worth, my order includes Journey to the Center of the Earth, First Men in the Moon, and U-Turn. It's still pending, so SAE doesn't have at least one of those in hand yet.

I usually receive my shipments from SAE just 1 or 2 days after I receive the shipment notification email. I'll post once again once they show up.

Great that your order has shipped. I'm a bit surprised because didn't TT say smaller orders would ship first? Anyway I'm still waiting for my order to ship. I just have Journey to the Center of the Earth and First Men in the Moon in my order so I wonder if First Men in the Moon is the hold up.

When SAE said smaller orders would ship first, I think they meant with respect to the number of pre-order titles. Note that JttCotE is the only one in Brent L.'s order that's a pre-order. All of the others should be in hand, so it was only waiting for that one title.

Yes, indeed. They're getting the new discs in one at a time probably and can only ship when they have everything you ordered that's new. Sounds like Journey has come in but not First Men in the Moon yet.

My order for Journey, The Driver, U Turn, and Leave Her to Heaven is till pending, hasn't shipped. but the order I placed on March 4th for Buddy Holly, Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison, Used Cars, Fright Night, La Bamba, and Birdman of Alcatraz arrived yesterday.

Since others with Journey have already had theirs shipped, I'm guessing U Turn is the title holding up my order.

as much as I want U-turn on BLU and believe me this has been my most wanted films on BLU since the format was released I really want to save it for a hot summer nite. It isn't hot enough here in MN to watch it yet.

I can't wait to see some reviews. It is SONY and Stone was involved I think the cinematography should really shine in HD. awesome work by Robert Richardson (Casino, Kill Bill) on U-Turn.

I think they purely meant that if you had more pre-orders, it would be higher likelihood that one of them would still be in "limbo" - thus delaying the entire order.

It had nothing to do with the size of the order, really. Just which particular titles were being "delayed". If you had a pre-order that was not part of the affected delays, or that had less of a delay, it wouldn't matter if that was part of an order for 100 blu-rays it would go out ahead of someone that just ordered 1 copy of The Bounty (which presumably will be the last ones filled at this point).

It's only been a day and a half remember. If Journey came in already I doubt the delay will be that bad.
