Yes, for hot pre-orders like these if you want them not to be held up you should pre-order the hot items each separately from each other and any other order. So Center is shipping while Moon hasn't come out yet. If ordered together Center might possibly be waiting for its Selenite sibling to arrive if it hasn't come.

Some good things survive in the theatrical version - the widescreen photography is superb and often looks like a throwback to the golden age of CinemaScope in the 50s - but it's one where the deleted scenes bin has much of the best material. The original version may well not be perfect (I haven't seen it, only the bowlderised re-edit), but it has to be an improvement, so it'll be interesting to see how it holds up.

Makes sense...lots of us ordered FMOTM with four other titles to qualify for the promotion where we got Fright Night 30th Anniversary (autographed)...gratis .

Twilight Time DVD Label NOTE: Fox is working very hard to finish the 4k restoration quickly and we are very hopeful of an April release -- however, be prepared for it to be just a little while longer as everyone wants this to be the best the film has ever looked.
This is a movie I would never, ever buy, but I like the cover and love that they're putting in such effort to get this one right.

I received notice that my Tuesday order of "Journey" shipped today for an expected Saturday delivery. I paid for standard shipping and only ordered one item.

Thanks, will be ordering a copy. Hope that 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment releases Journey to the center of the earth cartoon series from the 1960s.

Hopefully, one of you kind people who will be receiving "Journey" shortly can post a review of it.

The previous blu-ray was awful. I have no idea what the reviewer on this site was thinking when he gave it such a high rating. It was better than the previously available DVD... but not by much. The whole thing looks blurry and lacks detail, and it looks like edge enhancement was applied as well.

I really hope they did it right this time around.

Cinram is treating them the way that any business that wants to stay in business does. Labels like Fox, Warner, Disney, etc. send a hell of a lot more business Cinram's way than Twilight Time. So when production gets behind, it's the smaller labels that are at the end of the queue.

As far as I'm concerned it should be first come, first served basis. If everything gets backed up then everyone is treated equally and backed up appropriately. Cinram is free to do as they choose but they don't have my respect. If it was me and my business continued to be treated this way, on a routine basis, I'd take my business elsewhere.

Yup. Can't really complain, it's the weather's fault anyway. One week delay is certainly no big deal.

Exactly. Cinram puts Twilight Time at the end of the queue and Twilight Time decides to take their business elsewhere, or Cinram puts Fox at the end of the queue and Fox decides to take their business elsewhere. Which of those two possibilities do you think would have the greater impact on Cinram's bottom line?

If you're a small enough business, this kind of thing can destroy your company, which does none of your clients any good. TT, as a small business themselves, understands that Cinram needs to take care of their major clients first. And really, waiting a week or two isn't going to kill any of us.

Neither, shift the entire queue to the right without rearranging priorities. In the end, waiting a week or so won't kill anyone but it does become rather annoying when it continues to happen on a routine basis and is frankly disrespectful to small businesses. After all they are also their customers.

Except this doesn't happen on a regular basis. Extraordinarily horrible weather shut the replicating plant down. There's no avoiding that. The only other delay is The Bounty and that is TTs fault.

Quite. There's only one other time that I'm aware of that there was this serious a delay in shipping pre-orders. And that was exactly a year ago, with the March 2014 titles. Don't recall what the hold-up was, but shipping on that month's titles was delayed several days.

Default 4K Master transfer?

The Remains of the Day: The Filmmakers’ Journey
Blind Loyalty, Hollow Honor: England’s Fatal Flaw

Is there any way to know if the transfer is based off the same or a similar 4K master as with the UK disc? Does TT generally release discs with the highest quality transfer used elsewhere?

I think it was the March 2014 releases that were held up a bit by a shortage in the supply of non-eco cases. This happened at the same time they had their anniversary sale.

There was also a weather delay last year (don't recall which month), but the storm that caused it wasn't as bad as the ones they just experienced.
