This was a pricing mistake so they ended up cancelling most orders which hadn't shipped yet. Of course days after the cancellation orders started to ship randomly. DeliveryAgent continued to claim that no orders had or were being shipped even when presented with proof. What's ironic, as jayembee mentioned above, is that they state once an order has been placed they have no way to cancel said order even if the order is backordered. Yet, when it suits them they magically have the capability to cancel orders. Either the capability exists or it doesn't. To make matters worse some people have claimed they've gotten charged for a cancelled item, which ended up shipping, months after the fact. They also have a tendency to items as in stock when they're not. So their inventory tracking capabilities becomes questionable. |

Good news for fans of Francis Ford Coppola's much-maligned film The Cotton Club. On Robert Rodriguez's The Director's Chair show on his El Rey network, he interviewed Coppola who said that he's working on new 4K Blu-Ray edition, incorporating 20 minutes that was cut out.

Blimey... I NEVER thought i'd see 'THE COTTON CLUB' on bluray.
I like this film, but it has such a bad reputation that I figured it would just be buried. Still, we always need more Diane Lane in HD ![]() Wonder if they'll be any extras... so we can finally find out what really happened behind the scenes on this 'would be blockbuster' including the infamous murder??? |

I tried asking this in the Inherit the Wind thread, but I'm not getting a response...
How should I deal with an audio problem? I'm having issues with a mono track and I emailed TT about what I should do. They just got back to me today without really giving me any usable help. "no one is experiencing any sound problems with this disc. I would try the disc on another player or turn off the 5.1 sound mix as this is a mono film." I don't know what "turn off the 5.1 mix" means, and I'm stuck with a copy of a movie that I can't listen to. Should I push for an exchange, or do I just say I'm an unsatisfied customer and demand a return? OR am I just stuck with this disc as is? Thanks |

If you don't notice the same issues then obviously you know it's not the disc. imo it is rarely if ever "the disc" when no-one else has complained of the same problem; instead it's the all too common problem of "unknown aberrant disc interaction with one's various components". happens all the time with people and they end up exchanging the bd 3 or 4 times because they are convinced they have a bad disc. anyway, good luck. ![]() |
