Just think if TT grew their company we could get more than 5 per month.. they have 100+ titles but because theyre a small company they do only 5 at a time. Its probably better that way so it doesnt get too expensive to upgrade our favorite films

They have, they originally started out with 1-2 titles per month.

That's one of the takeaways from the interview that was posted here a few days ago. They have the deals to where they could release more than 5 per month. They just choose not to.

It speaks volumes that they consider the customer and their spending, plus they are smart and scale their business slowly. TT gets a lot of flak, but I think they are a responsible business that cares for their customer, which is why I don't mind spending $35 for a title I want.

Yeah but they could grow even more.. think about that for a moment Its probably a wise move to not over saturate each month, considering all of the other studios that are also releasing titles from MGM (Kino,Olive, and Shout)
When its all said and done I can see most of the MGM MOD titles getting blu ray releases as well as most of the Midnite movie line

I'll wait until they all go on sale next year and see what shakes out. I'm done paying $30, knowing the inevitable sale will be coming like clockwork.

Zardoz is the first disc I've preordered from them, I did it a couple of weeks ago. It releases this week, will its shipment likely be delayed because of the backlog from the sale?

Probably, but I think the bottleneck is close to over. I had an order placed on 3/31 that just arrived today and my 4/3 order from the last day of the sale is pending, probably will ship Monday. There were probably a lot of sale items bought with Zardoz, so I'd expect longer delays than usual.

There were a couple of months in a row (Nov & Dec 2014) where they upped it to six a month, but then scaled back to five again. But then, this month has six titles scheduled.

Plus, at 35 bucks a pop its a big difference from the 15 bucks or so most of those Kino and Olive titles end up being. They can't put out too many TT"s a month.

I hope we get an update soon on the low quantity BDs. If First Men and Journey drop below 500 it's a testament to the studios that there's a strong market for classic Sci Fi/Fantasy/Horror BDs.

There are different types of customers and, let's face it, not all customers are going to purchase every single release per month. A majority may purchase 1 or 2 titles and at times none. So, adding more titles allows them to diversify and cater to different customers which can lead to growth.

There's probably still room for growth but I think the main thing that might be holding them back at the moment is available funding. I wouldn't be surprised, if over time, they add more releases per month even if it takes a few years for them to do that.

Most likely next week or the week after. I think they're waiting until all of the Birthday Sale orders have shipped before taking an inventory of what's left.

Probably the same as the other releases that Sony has released internationally. The question is will it have all of the special features of the 40th anniversary DVD release?

I was going to say none for me of the new titles, but that trailer for "Bamboo House" has me sold. The narrator on that trailer sounded like the guy from the Cinerama films.

Nothing I want to own there, so I get a few months off from Twilight Time, which is kind of nice honestly at their prices.

I hate how unless you have your FB page setup this stuff never pops up unless you check everyday.
