Correct . Oildude does a terrific job updating this thread...none better .

Anyone can do a a Google search...don't need to be specific just "Twilight Time". Guess which thread appears on top? Yeah, this one right here . No other thread even appears in pg one of the search .

Since it's a Sony title, I suppose there's a chance. Even though I've never seen it, I'd buy that for sure. More good Audrey Hepburn on Blu-ray can only be a good thing, and adding Sean Connery and Robert Shaw to the mix is icing on the cake.

I found it boring myself and didn't much like it, although I dislike most movies with downer endings.

It also has a nice John Barry score which would sound great as an isolated track. I'd love to see them release this too.

A word to the wise about The World of Henry Orient. Don't let the star billing fool you, although Peter Sellers takes top billing and does a good job in the film, its main focus is on the two teenage girls.

Yeah, it's also barely a comedy, despite having that one brilliant and hilarious musical number in it.

Thanks for the heads up. I still plan on getting it, but now at least I won't go into it expecting the wrong kind of movie. I should still enjoy it.

Concerning ROBIN AND MARIAN, I like this movie a lot, but as someone posted earlier, the only negative to me is the ending. The highlight of this movie is Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn who are great together.
Hepburn came out of retirement for this movie and feuded with director Richard Lester, and Lester feuded with producer Ray Stark who fired composer Michel Legrand and replaced him with John Barry who composed an outstanding score, and Lester didn't like Barry's score, and then Stark replaced part of Barry's score with yet another composer......
As you can see, ROBIN AND MARIAN had its share of conflict---I just wish it had a different ending.
ROBIN AND MARIAN is one of John Barry's best scores. I have both the original Barry soundtrack and the rerecorded version by Nic Raine and the City of Prague Philharmonic with its superior audio quality.
Another plus to ROBIN AND MARIAN is Connery and Robert Shaw duking it out again after their classic fight scene in FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE.

I hardly remember this movie, but I saw it probably in 2007-2008, thereabouts. I remember looking forward to it greatly and then being quite let down, but I would give it a second look see. I think it just wasn't what I wanted it to be.

Well, that last shot (in both senses of the phrase) is one of the most famous elements of the original legend, albeit one that I don't recall seeing in any other Robin Hood film.

Count me in as another who would love to see Twilight Time get this one.

Watched "The Other." The disc looks nice and it's a pretty good straightforward evil kid movie, much more tightly scripted and uncompromising than you usually see in the subgenre. Some earnest kid has a twin brother who keeps causing people to have "accidents." It's a very tightly scripted movie, with a lot of seemingly pointless early scenes eventually turning out to be serious foreshadowing (especially
[Show spoiler]a visit backstage to a freak show, and a newspaper headline which at first just seemed to be establishing the year
).

I had the big "reveal" figured out
[Show spoiler]in the first scene cause of the awkward way they film the two kids, and then had the full thing figured out as soon as the early scene with the mom staring at the well, but fortunately the entire last 40 minutes takes place after the twist so it wasn't a big deal. It's been ripped off so many times (and was probably a ripoff of something to begin with) that it's hard not to instantly expect that with this kind of movie.

The climax was suitably nasty, I was not expecting the
[Show spoiler]gross reveal in the barrel.
This isn't a classic or anything, but it's very effective for what it is, despite annoyingly fakey child-actor performances from the two leads.

The sad thing is i made a separate order for a preorder that is being released this tuesday. So i paid for shipping twice for nothing i guess..

So.. anyone else have an order that hasn't shipped yet?

I agree that 20 days is far too long. OP, are you positive that you didn't order anything that was a preorder?

Question does anyone think they will ship non sale orders before Friday? I'm still waiting on a order that was placed last week.

Ok this proves no one reads the posts he did say he did another order that was a pre order. Maybe they caught both and decided to combine them into one order?

Well maybe they shouldn't do the sale or don't release any new titles during the month the sale is in.

they don't ever combine orders placed at separate times.
I've asked them about this before.
also: for the person whose order has not been shipped in 20 days, I would call them.
just be sure to have the order number at hand.

The sale is once a year. I much prefer to have the sale and wait over not having the sale at all.

So now that TT is doing The Best Of Everything maybe other Fox Studio Classics like Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, Peyton Place or even Monroe's Lets Make Love aren't too far off
