'Finally' got my signed Fright Night special edition. I swapped it out to a black case just to distinguish it from my other 2 copies.

It was the same for me. I figured it out too fast, which ultimately led me to not like the movie. I found it extremely boring, though you're right about the climax. That part was great.

I had the big "reveal" figured out
[Show spoiler]in the first scene cause of the awkward way they film the two kids, and then had the full thing figured out as soon as the early scene with the mom staring at the well, but fortunately the entire last 40 minutes takes place after the twist so it wasn't a big deal. It's been ripped off so many times (and was probably a ripoff of something to begin with) that it's hard not to instantly expect that with this kind of movie.

This isn't a classic or anything, but it's very effective for what it is, despite annoyingly fakey child-actor performances from the two leads.

I've been a fan of this film for years. Bought it a week before they had it on sale for $10 less -- ouch! -- but worth it. The isolated music track has cues and cuts of Jerry Goldsmith's score before Mulligan trimmed music from some scenes.

Yes, it's a more old-fashioned gothic horror story (or is it a horror story?), in the vein of The Innocents and Don't Look Now.

I can't find one either, but one thing I wish TT would do, is publish trailers for upcoming releases, at least for the more obscure titles.

I received my 3/31 order of 6 blu's today. That is 13 days but of course all were not business days. Great packing! I placed an order for 3 more on 4/1, 4 more on 4/2 and 5 more on 4/3. I just couldn't stop with that sale. All of those still say pending.

I figured the 4/1 order would ship today but they have not. I'm thinking the average time for shipping is 10 to 20 days depending on how many blu's were ordered. No doubt this is due to the birthday sale. I went in thinking I was going to buy 3 or 4 and ended up buying 18. So I know there's better financed people out there who probably had the same problem I did and ordered many more than they planned. TT had to love that but the shipping not so much.

However long it takes for me to get all my blu's it's worth it. I love TT and I'm so glad I discovered them. They are going to see more orders from me for awhile now. I love these 3,000 limit blu rays.

They switched to clear cases for all their new releases? What titles are those?

EDIT: I guess so since TT said they're taking "the blu out of ray".

I guess so.
The poster says:

Hey, something looks different with this new batch of releases!
TT responds:

We're taking the blu out of ray...
So I guess all new titles will be in such cases from now on.
Personally I preferered blue, and I would love if all TT titles seemed alike on the shelf. (I honestly didn't like Fright Night standing out)

edit: Oh, you saw it..

I'm fine with it really since clear cases still look blue on the shelf when they are next to other cases and they are readily available just in case I need replacement cases.

Where have you been finding clear Elite replacement cases?

Now we know why FN included a clear case ... it looks like they were testing the waters.

I'm in a dark room here, and still my Fright Night stands out like a sore thumb among the other TT Blurays.

I really like the clear cases, so I'm happy that they're making the change. If you like all of your cases blue, it's not difficult to swap out the clear cases for regular blu-ray cases, which are ubiquitous. And I'm sure you'll find people willing to buy the clear ones from you.

I like it...if the move is permanent I, will order clear cases for my 30 TT titles. I just want to be sure that they plan to keep releasing them this way. I can use the blue cases currently housing my TT movies to trash more Eco cases
[Show spoiler]not really trash but recycle
.

What brand are the clear cases? I wasn't a fan of the hard plastic Olive style cases, the fronts always seemed kind of warped. I know TT said that those cases were actually more so maybe this is a cheaper alternative to the ecocases.

"verygooditem_iu" on ebay. He had a few listings for clear and black cases a while back. Good quality too, just like the original 1st gen Elite. It's probably about a year since I last saw them though..

Thrilled with the clear cases ever since they had to use those slightly thicker cases which doesn't hold the cover art correctly IMO the clear ones are welcomed to my collection. I think all BLU Rays should have clear cases. it isn't like their is a format war with HD DVD any longer.
