Those are definitely the Viva Elite cases.

I have all my TT movies in black cases anyway so this doesn't affect me at all but I think clear cases look pretty cool.

I haven't found a store that sells the clear Viva Elite cases. They can be ordered from Viva but minimum orders are in the thousands.

Thank all the dieties. I'm getting sick blue plastic cases, it's crass. In fact, only my cheap BDs come in blue cases, Criterion and others are moving to clear, or nicely printed digipacks. (I guess I'm in the minority, I like paper slip cases if the tray is solid, and the printing is high quality.)

Ordered these titles (JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, SOLOMON AND SHEBA, & FIRST MEN IN THE MOON) first from Amazon at double the prices and then realized about ordering from TT (had never done this before) - seeing the higher prices on Amazon, I figured these titles had already sold out or were getting close to it. Placed order on April 1st but 15 days later, order is still pending. Will TT really ship me these (have these not already been sold out)? Should I return my Amazon purchases?

None of these titles appears to be too close to selling out at this point as there is still a 3 per person limit on JTTCOTE and FMITM. You should definitely get the movies you ordered from them, it's just taking longer than usual right now due to the large sale they had recently.

You are getting ripped off. Contact Amazon directly via chat or phone and tell them that you have been waiting for the seller and after 15 days nothing. Insist that they cancel your order now...don't let them convince you to contact the seller...15 days is enough.

Get the refund/cancellation and order from screen archives...link is in page 1 of this thread.

That's how I interpreted his post, too. that he originally ordered from an Amazon marketplace seller, then when he saw the price difference, he placed a second order at Screen Archives (which he says TT). But since SAE hasn't shipped 15 days later, he's worried they will never ship, so doesn't want to return the ones he got from Amazon marketplace seller until he knows for sure.

I put everything that doesn't come in a viva elite case into a viva elite case, so whatever TT uses other than viva elite doesn't really change things for me. I wish they used viva elite cases like Scream and Kino do.

Think you are right . I thought his order from Amazon was still pending after 15 days....

Not even sure if he can return the Amazon order since its from a third party and he's had itfor a while now. Obviously, he will get his order from SAE and runs a zero risk of having the titles sell out.

I think people have stated in another thread that you can get Viva Elite cases made but the minimum order is 5000. It's a large number, but if there was a 'group buy', I think it'd be possible. Maybe not for odd colors like yellow or red, but black or clear cases (maybe white also) are pretty ordinary looking and would look right with just about everything. With a huge forum like this, getting 50 people to buy a box of 100 doesn't sound THAT difficult. Now a color like yellow, where some would only find use out of a small number of cases, that's a different story.
