Sorry, i'm just irritated that the last few orders have arrived really late, even one of my inserts was screwed up and they never fixed the issue for me.
Are you talking about a week from when they ship to when it arrives, or a week from when you order to when they send it off to you? Frankly, if it only took a week for me to get my stuff, I'd be overjoyed. As for cost of shipping, well their shipping to Canada for five movies is $10 which includes a sturdy cardboard box, bubble wrap and packing peanuts, plus a tracking number. Check out how many asholes on E-Bay try to charge about twice that much for shipping a single movie to Canada.

I save my bubble envelopes from other purchases (Amazon, etc) and put my label over the old ones, use Ebay/Paypal for shipping and my total cost is usually $2.90 (with free tracking that Ebay/Paypal provides) and I use Media Mail as the shipping type. Been doing this for years now without any problems. Probably shipped over 500 used DVD's and video games this way at $3 a pop.

I preordered A Man For All Seasons from SAE and Jamacia Inn from Amazon. The release date was the same for both. My SAE order is out for delivery, but my Amazon order still has not shipped. Thanks SAE way to go.

I have had nothing but good luck from SAE.

I never looked into paypal shipping because I don't sell enough to bother really, and don't want to buy a scale. I didn't know they did free tracking. Either way, TT ain't using old envelopes and they also have handling costs. $5 makes sense to me, even if it feels super high since I get everything else "free" from Amazon Prime.

Huh? Are you printing through Ebay? I pay exactly 2.01 and that is with tracking included. They automatically inform the buyer and sends the tracking number to them. As for envelopes I just save those ones I get from various order from all the places I shop. I rip the labels off, replace them with my own and reseal them, works great.

I'm sure SAE purchases their bubble envelopes in quantity. A skid which includes 5250 envelopes (~ 1-2 TT releases) brings the cost down to only $0.15 per envelope.

True, but you forgot U-Line charges shipping via UPS, usually about $10 per case. Still a good deal in bulk, though.

Uline will also ship motor freight which can be cheaper than UPS and more likely if a skid (or more) are being ordered. SAE may also be able to negotiate additional discounts depending on quantity and frequency of orders.

you should invest in a scale.. I think you can get one on eBay for less than $15. profit margins on selling movies is small. it is definitely worth it because you'll net a buck or two more on just about everything. example - my first eBay sale was a Criterion title - I paid $4.29 for shipping, tracking, and an envelope. my most recent sale was also a CC title - I paid $2.80 for shipping, tracking, and an envelope.

I don't know if you have Dollar Tree stores in your part of the U.S., but they sell bubble mailers 2 in a package for a dollar.

I used to pay for postage at PO but later started purchasing thru ebay. No need to use scale, ebay has weight preset depending on item. Get discount on 1st class postage, free tracking, auto posting tracking number. No waiting in line at PO, just drop off at counter. Clerks love it. PO has never refused/sent back a package with ebay mailing label. Cant beat it. Either use old mailers or can buy box of 25 for $.25 each on ebay.

yeah, you can guess without a mail scale, but erring on the safe side of a weight estimate will cost you money.

Uline has a better padded envelope for shipping Blu-rays and DVDs...it is plastic not the paper one shown.

Almost the same price ($3 more per case) AND is damn near waterproof!

Yep, Uline has other options available although I've never seen SAE use the plastic bubbler mailers. My one and two item orders from SAE have always come in the paper bubble mailers. In fact, I still have one from my last SAE order and they actually used the Uline Jiffylite #0 (S-1285) mailer.

According to the label they used Endicia for printing their mailing labels based on the commercial base price. Also, I noticed they shipped it via First-Class Package Rate based on a 3 oz. weight. Based on my experience a single disc with case and mailer weighs, a minimum, of 6-7 oz.

I just watched A Man For All Seasons. I do not have the greatest eye-sight and do not know how to see all the facets of VQ, but the picture had great color and detail. I think it is a substantial improvement over my DVD. I like it very much. I had to watch it over the tv speakers so I do not want to judge the audio.

I don't even have a printer, and I sell so little it's really not worth my investment, like I said. Glad it works for you though.
