I'll be passing on this Autograph, have U-Turn already. I would have been surprised if Oliver Stone would have signed for a Third time....will be nice now to build up a few in My want list for the next Autograph.

I moved to California actually, which probably has the best weather in the US and is my favorite place in the world (and I've been a lot of places). My wife moved us to Philly to be near her aging parents. It's annoying but I give good husband.

However yes, I would say Pennsylvania has better weather than Florida for actually living in a place full time. Florida is way too hot for half the year and way too humid the whole year. Plus the freaking bugs, and the rednecks, the crappy schools and the horrible lack of culture or history. It's not the paradise it seems like when you just visit unless you can afford a nice beach town and crave the Jimmy Buffet lifestyle.

It's really not humid at all for about 4-6 months of the year. November-March are particularly great in south Florida. I agree about Cali having the best weather year round, but for half the year at least Florida is close.

That being said, July-September especially can be hellish if you aren't out on the beaches. I can't even imagine living in central Florida in the dead of summer. Still, I'll take "too much humidity" any time over the winter weather I was used to in Connecticut and New Jersey. If I could afford it (and/or was retired) I would split time - summers in the northeast, winters on the beaches of Florida.

I lived in Houston for 7 years and that's just as bad. Even so, I prefer it over Iowa (where I was born and raised and left at 23). I'll take the hot and humid weather over Iowa winters any day. And yeah, California weather is great and that's the main reason I moved there.

I didn't even see snow until I moved here, since all my traveling was in the Summer months and I grew up in FL and then lived in CA. I don't think I'm over the novelty of it yet, but it helps that Philly usually has pretty mild winters. You want to talk about cold, I lived in Eastern Europe for two years in the mountains with no central heating... THAT was cold! Craziest two years of my life.

Born and raised in California and as soon as I was old enough to join the military I got out of there and never looked back. Been all over the globe and plan to retire anywhere but California.

Fun times!
I'd definitely pick up Experiment in Terror before it is sold out. I picked up 4 titles during their big sale and this one was the most enjoyable.

Agreed. I have about 20 or so of their titles and that is one of my favourites. It was a nice surprise!

Does anyone know when 'The Fabulous Baker Boys' will be up for pre-order? Also, are there any specs for this title yet? I find it baffling how TT and SAE operate.

Hi everyone,

Just checking in to say that if anyone has a mint, sealed or no, copy of The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad or Sinbad & The Eye of The Tiger that they would like to trade or sell for a reasonable price, hit me up.

I had tragedy strike last night when a soda exploded and sprayed my table, floor and a little hit my movie shelf. Most movies were fine, a handful took a hit and the covers for the 2 Sinbads got drenched. Anyway, thought I'd reach out.

I have sealed copies of TT Christine, TT NOTLD and Plain Archive The Master Keepcase I can trade btw if anyone is interested. Thanks.

Simply keep an eye on post # 1 of this thread. Oildude selflessly keeps up with everything for us. All we have to do is click.

Twilight Time announces upcoming titles two months at a time (in even numbered months). Then the wait begins. The announcements include the street dates for each of the titles. The pre-order dates are generally 2-3 weeks before the street date. Street dates are generally the second Tuesday of the month, and pre-order dates the last Wednesday of the previous month.

So, for The Fabulous Baker Boys, it was announced in early April, and scheduled for a July 14 street date. While TT/SAE hasn't yet formally announced the pre-order date, it'll probably be June 24. No guarantees, though.
