Isn't Twilight Time supposed to release Where the Sidewalk Ends in 2016? Gene Tierney is featured in that film to great effect.

I'm looking forward to upgrading my current DVD, because Where the Sidewalk Ends is prime Otto Preminger.

I was wondering about that, since TT had previously said that they had the other two Preminger noirs that are in the upcoming UK Preminger noir collection. I found it hard to believe that TT would get two of them and not the third.

On edit: Yes, Owl. TT had previously said that they would be releasing Where the Sidewalk Ends, as well as Fallen Angel.

This is fantastic news. I love all three of those Preminger titles ... Fallen Angel, Whirlpool, and Where the Sidewalk Ends ... and am overjoyed that they're coming to North America on blu-ray.

I've used a similar sounding product called "Goo Gone" to remove stickers from cover art, but I imagine it works in the same way as you describe. I soak a Q-tip with the stuff, and then gently rub the soaked Q-tip over the back of the sticker (basically soaking the sticker) until the adhesive softens up enough that I can eventually pull the sticker off without damaging the artwork.

First post has been updated. Pre-orders for the October 2015 titles will begin Wednesday, September 30 at 4 pm EST.

Also, there is a strong possibility John Carpenter's Vampires will be a 5000 unit release but this is not definite yet.

I agree. Even the multi-layer process shots, which I expected to look bad, look a lot better than I expected.

Im really excited about Scream and Scream Again and Count Yorga, Vampire. Ill be ordering them the moment they go up.

Now...if Twilight Time would only announce release dates for The Hound of the Baskervilles and Theatre of Blood....i need those ASAP.

Are they actually working on Theater of Blood? I would definitely like to have that on Blu-ray.

That's what I've seen others mention on here...that they have the rights to both. Haven't seen anything official though.

If you pre-order from Screen Archives, a pre-authorization charge appears on your account, and will disappear in a day or so (depending on your banking institution). The permanent charge appears when they ship.

Ordering from Twilight Time's website should work the same, but some people have reported that the permanent charge showed up after ordering. I haven't yet ordered from TT's site, so I can't confirm.

I don't know if this is legitimate or not, but has anyone realized that Amazon.ca has pre-orders for Twilight Time movies?

I just checked out '10 to Midnight', 'At Close Range', and 'Angel' are all up for pre-orders. If this is going to be a regular thing, it's fantastic for Canadians!

It's unlikely Amazon.ca will have the new releases unless they're dealing in bootleg editions. See a few pages back.
