I think the font size in the Twilight Time booklets is just fine and never thought it was small for even a moment. Everyone has different eyes though.

Is there any benefit ordering TT movies from them instead of Screen Archives?

Disc prices seem identical, shipping is $0.36 less.

Orders should ship faster for new releases since the orders are shipped direct from the replicator.

10 to Midnight is a standard MGM/Canon old master, same as many released before, no better or worse. Lots of bad establishing shots, which is typical. I'm sure it's still much better than DVD. More discussion in its own thread.

I already read your comment in the Bronson thread. But thanks anyway.

According to SAE a corrected booklet will be sent to you automatically.

September 14th - To all customers who have purchased At Close Range - In light of how hard the text is to read for At Close Range and the amount of requests so far, we will be automatically sending a replacement booklet to ALL orders placed via our site once they are made available. There is no need to submit a request for the booklet.

Thanks for posting this, rdodolak... I received my SAE order today, and that booklet is truly unreadable. It's great to hear the replacement will be mailed out automatically.

Finally!! After years of waiting, I have At Close Range on Blu in my hands!

Looking forward to watching it and to reading the replacement booklet that SAE is sending out.

I've never seen STRANGE INVADERS. Is it worth buying?

I see Kenneth Tobey (THE THING, IT CAME FROM BENEATH THE SEA) is in it, but i assume it's only a cameo.

While we did have some hiccups our very first month in operation with Cinram, we are now shipping 100% of orders within 24 hours, regardless of how many we get in at a time.

For all pre-orders, product ships from our warehouse to customers on the same day it ships to SAE. Short of hiccups in the postal service where packages get lost, you will always receive your product faster ordering from twilighttimemovies.com.

I watched that movie for the first time last year and my wife and I got a good laugh at how over the top the young guy went with his performance. The overall movie was entertaining though.

I don't know if I would pay TT's prices on a blind-buy for STRANGE INVADERS..it might be something you want to watch first.. FWIW.

Do you subscribe to the Retro channel (I think it' part of the Encore package) because it is showing on that channel in HD this month.

Wonder if Twilight Time could get a complete version of Robert Altman's California Split? Maybe if they were able to release it with their limited edition model they could get clearance rights to some of the music/scenes that led to the dvd being edited and cut down.

Just read the following in a blog post on TT's site:

"In 2016, look for Fritz Lang’s scalding The Big Heat (1953), starring Glenn Ford, Gloria Grahame and Lee Marvin, to return to TT’s larcenous lineup following its initial sellout run."

http://www.twilighttimemovies.com/news/mass-mobsterism/

I'm personally looking forward to this as I missed it during the first run.
