I'll be buying it just on the strength of the cast, and for the same reasons that you've mentioned.

I don't know about all of them, but at least 14 of the 22 have been mentioned by the TT folks at HTF or on their Facebook account.

Yes, all across forums, FB pages, that's why the info is there - they have most of them

I asked about the Preminger titles because there was an import release of the same films, which they replied yes they have them. Id rather support TT and Im not a fan of Whirlpool anyway - but Fallen Angel heck yeah !!

I doubt they will be releasing True Lies and The Abyss. All the other titles seem up their alley.

I'm in for:
Gorilla at Large (no 3D, no buy though, Furmanek says this title likely hasn't been restored for 3D by Fox based on the available elements)
Miss Sadie Thompson (no 3D, no buy though)
Drunken Master
Snake in the Eagle's Shadow
The Hound of the Baskervilles (unless I buy the Arrow version first now that I'm region free)
Whirlpool (reserved for either a sale or title needed for a signed promotion)
Moby Dick (reserved for either a sale or title needed for a signed promotion)
Fallen Angel (reserved for either a sale or title needed for a signed promotion)
I Want To Live! (reserved for either a sale or title needed for a signed promotion)

Is there any danger of Mysterious Island being a quick sellout? Looks like the initial release took some time to sell through, so I assume not, but I don't want to miss out on getting a copy by not jumping on it right away.

Yeah, those two are head scratchers.. they seem out of place, and in all honesty, last night when i looked I did notice them on the list.. it could be someone added them to be cute or something ?
The other titles - most have been confirmed in one way or another

The Abyss and True Lies being on that list is, I think, an example of Wikipedia being Wikipedia.

Okay I just asked TT , they DONT have The Abyss and True Lies - someone just got *cute* on the list...

But yes, a lot of us do know they have Hound, Fallen Angel, Gorilla at Large, Whirlpool as reported via Facebook, HTF (they get exclusives with TT). Im about 100% sure someone who saw the link last night just added the Abyss and True Lies to be a prick lol (or a troll)

Well, keep in mind that Twilight Time wasn't as well known when they originally released Mysterious Island (it was only their second Blu-ray release). Given that the reissue of Journey to the Center of the Earth still hasn't sold out (though it's under 500 copies left) after 8 months, I wouldn't expect the Mysterious Island reissue to sell out that quickly.

(I forget...have they said whether it's getting a 5000-copy press run this time around?)

But as I always say, if it's a title you really want, get it as soon as you can manage. If for no other reason, it'll give you peace of mind knowing that it won't sell out from under you while you're dithering.

EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS will be a US home video premiere, as it wasn't even released on VHS. Fine film.

HARDCORE, PRIVATE PARTS (1972), HOMICIDAL, THE INCIDENT, 8MM, SHOCK TREATMENT (1964), SODOM AND GOMORRAH, THE THREE WORLDS OF GULLIVER, THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED, RED SKY AT MORNING, WHERE THE LILIES BLOOM, GIRLS TOWN (1959).

This second pressing of "Mysterious Island" also does not appear to be a remastering or restoration ala "Journey to the Center of the Earth." That would tend to exclude the double dippers for this title resulting in even more availability for first time purchasers.

There would definitely need to be a large incentive for me to double dip. An in-depth making of feature would go a long way if the audio/video presentation won't be seeing an improvement. I imagine it won't happen though if there isn't one already created for Mysterious Island. I see this title selling similar to Journey, although I think it may be more popular considering it's Harryhausen.

Off the top? "Exodus", "Runaway Train", and "Moby Dick" (assuming they don't use the spectacularly hideous cover art from the Wikipedia link).

Is there a chance of TT releasing any titles from Jan Michael Vincent's 70s drive-in trifecta: WHITE LINE FEVER... BUSTER & BILLIE... BABY BLUE MARINE?

I so wish that Twilight would have a sale again either for the holidays or the next anniversary...

isn't it funny that so many people here want catalog titles for as little as 5 bucks but when it comes to this label we're begging for a $19.99 price point?

Talk about "supply and demand".....

I'm ready to pre-order Sense & Sensibility, and probably grab Remains of the Day to share shipping, so what's the general consensus on where to order: SAE or TT? Is one cheaper/better than the other?
