My package should've had a copy of Slaughterhouse-Five in it, because it's now unstuck in time.

This morning, it was logged as arriving at a PO in-state. I could be getting it tomorrow, but I'm not counting on it.

My order still hasn't shipped, of course, the only pre-order title in my order was Harlock which got pushed back until January. Although, I thought they said they wouldn't hold back orders for that title anymore. I don't particularly care, I'm in no rush since I probably wouldn't watch any of the titles until after the New Year anyway.

I can't speak for the other posters, but anger would not be the word in my case. I have a lot of TT discs and all came from SAE. I have defended them before even during the birthday sale where they were getting a lot of grief. Surprise would be a better word for me. I honestly didn't even bother checking, knowing that my order would be delayed by the release date. It was only yesterday that I noticed the release was a couple weeks ago. Are they getting the discs that late?

Honestly I like SAE and would prefer to keep giving them my business. They have good service and usually if you email them, they will respond promptly.

Got my order in today. Didn't order from SAE though. The TT website is much better.

Not saying I love that conversation, but shipping stuff is kind of exactly what this thread is for.

Especially when they have recently transitioned from one to two distributors.

I'm all for comparing notes on Born Free eventually, and am watching The Driver tonight.

It depends on which new releases you ordered. Harlock has been delayed until next month and Mysterious Island wasn't available until mid last week. If your order contained Mysterious Island then your whole order is delayed due to the manufacturing delay.

Mine was 1984 and Born Free. Either way I'm not worried about it. They will arrive next week.

spoke with someone at SAE yesterday and she was talking about the "sale", etc. etc.
I mean I got my "sale" stuff a while back, so I'm kind of confused what in the world is going on. They have Mysterious Island in now, and still my order hasn't shipped. Whether one blames X-mas, USPS, SAE's small staff, or the friggin' Easter Bunny, bottom line is SAE has got issues right now, and it's just kind of sad any way you look at it.
I know I'll get the discs at some point, but considering the price TT sets, SAE really needs to do a better job.
probably will order direct from TT in Jan.

I don't doubt that the sale is probably still factoring into their ongoing shipping delays. While the sale ended over a week ago, they don't ship an order until all items ordered are available and they probably had a ton of orders that combined preorders for the new releases with orders for TT sale items.

So does mine, I have Mysterious Island still sitting around in Memphis and its close to a week. I ordered another movie from the TT website last week and Ill get it today based on the tracking. This time I went with Priority Mail, that speeds things up. Still one way or another I will get Mysterious Island , as if the post office loses the parcel or what have you I can easily get a replacement

EDIT - its getting closer to my city ! Thank God !

Steering this back on topic, I finally watched The Driver last night and it reminded me why I love TT releases so much. Usually they have solid movies, great transfers and picture quality and occasionally good supplements. This one did not have many supplements and that was fine. I was satisfied with the film, which was a first time watch for me, and a good melding of action with art. The chase scenes alone are worth the price alone.

I'll be watching some other TT flicks over the holidays.

Now that the mystery of where my copy of Mysterious Island has been solved it's back to pestering TT for One Million Years, B.C. and The 3 Worlds of Gulliver. I will not rest until every Harryhausen movie is available on blu-ray. Yes, Warner......you're next
