Assuming it's a new remaster being released on BD and UHD. Will eat that shit up if so.

Day one pickup for sure! Now if Warner could remaster Training Day for 4K UHD, that'd be real sweet!

I think we can assume that every major Hollywood title, especially if released by a major studio, will have HDR. Ghostbusters 1984, Goodfellas and other 1990's and older movies thus far released have pretty much put to bed the fears that HDR will unnaturally alter the look of the movie. On the contrary, it makes it look more natural and enhances it.

I think it works on those movies because it's used very sparingly. As long as the studios keep using it responsibly for older films it's not an issue. Happy to see such restraint, compared to how early BD releases look godawful with processing effects.

I've never gotten around to buying this movie at all which I"m ashamed to admit. It's a great movie and will make a nice addition.

Not that I know of. Universal also released some imax Documentaries without hdr as well. I don't think it's 100 % guaranteed.

The first one is not a major title and furthermore is from a minor label, the others are imports and I wasn't referring to those. But I would think that just about every import from a major label will have HDR. The trend is pretty obvious so far.

These are relatively obscure IMAX docs, a far cry from a standard major movie release which is shown in pretty much every market.

And they were from Universal who always seems to find a way to do the bare minimum effort on catalog titles.
