I don't think they will kill Alice. Everyone loves Milla and I doubt they want to kill her off. She's still hot

I'm looking forward to see Wesker in this film as well. I'm really curious as to how Chris is going to fit into all this. because I read a synopsis that said something like this, "if they're to survive, they must trust a man they've been warned not to trust, Chris Redfield."

Also makes me wonder if Chris will in-fact be a former S.T.A.R.S. member and now a BSAA Agent.

I like Chris and Wesker but the one thing I don't like is that the characters seem randomly thrown into the movie. Wesker was barely in the 3rd movie, but it at least hinted he could be making an apperance. Claire was just randomly thrown into the 3rd movie just as someone driving around survivors from Raccon City. Wesker does look like he will kick some major ass, so I'm pumped about that. Chris I'm not too sure about, I think he will probaly be BSAA Agent since this movie seems to be taking ideas off of RE5.

I'll agree with that. It did seem like Claire was just randomly thrown into RE 3.

And I'm SUPER pumped for the fight between Chris, Claire and Wesker. That's one of the coolest scenes in RE 5: The game. So I can't wait to see it on film in 3D

I really think this is what they're attempting to do with this film. Continue it, but give it a new feel and perhaps a new story arch to follow, besides Alice

Yeah I wish I could be around to see this in 3D but it's once I might have to miss Should be great though, that scene looks great

They need to start over. Start with RE1 and continue from there until 4. Then come up with a new story. These are okay films, but based on the source they suck.

I agree these films can be a lot better but they aren't horrible. They randomly throw in scenes from some of the different video games occasionly for people. RE2 there is scenes from Nemesis, RE2 and Code Veronica. Things are a little random and the story is a different take but I can deal with it. I absolutley agree though. I can be happy with the RE we have now but I would love to see a different take on it.

Just like I Sam Rami's Spider-Man, I wouldn't mind to see a new vision of it.

Yeah I agree. I watched the commentary and the making of for the first two movies which wasn't too bad. I kind of understood where Anderson was coming from with not making the movie like the game. I honestly don't want to watch a replica of the game, that would be pointless. The first RE movie was meant to be a prequel to the game, to show how it all happened. After I realized that I saw the movie in a totally different way and I was okay with it. Paul Anderson however did not direct the second movie.

Romero is a genius but his take on Resident Evil was a little different and seemed out of place. It would of been cool since he would of actually had it set in the mansion but there were things about it that seemed off. Don't get me wrong though, I love Romero.

The best RE movie though IMO would be Resident Evil: Degeneration since that is actually true to the source material.

Well I didn't end up going to the midnight IMAX. I guess the 11am show will do for now. This is one of eight movies I really want to see this year. I know going into it that its not going to be great. I just of fan of the other movies so its a must for this one.

I would just go there in not expecting anything. Not expecting it to be great or expecting it to be horrible. That way you're not disappointed.

Sure the trailer looks great but that doesn't make the movie great.

Sure all the other movies have not been the best but that doesn't mean this will be.

I am seeing a 3:50PM showing right after i rewatch Extinction i can't wait. I just hope its more along the lines of 1 and 3 in terms of quality. I have just rewatched 1 and 2 the other day and man 2 realy has it's faults more so then the other two. I still enjoy it but not as much.

Have you watched any of the clips on youtube? I think the movies PQ will look great. I does on youtube. I only watched 1 clip. I want to go into the movie fresh not knowing anything.

I don't know about rest IMO it's hard to top the first. I am pretty damn sure it will be better then 2. So i guess it comes down to will this be my second favorite of the series or will that stay Extinction.
