Yeah when I first read that, I knew that meant the Asgardians RIP.

I wonder what Feige means when he says we'll see some familiar faces in this one that try to help Thanos? He mentioned Loki as one but any guesses who else he could be talking about?

I think it would be pretty cool if a lot of old villains came back and caused a huge battle between the Avengers and their old rivals (Cap and Skull, Strange and Dormammu, etc.)

Maybe that's how Avengers 3 will end. The "epic battle" for that movie will be the Avengers against their old villains and then the Avengers will win and Avengers 4 will be Thanos against the Avengers.

I'd be totally down for all the villains to return in this one. But its unlikely. I can see maybe 2 or 3 guys showing up though. Most likely candidates:

Red Skull (was absorbed by the Tesseract)
Hela (Thanos love interest?)

Hela is the Asgardian Death.

Death in Marvel who Thanos worships is a different entity.
