What about Silver Surfer? I think that the movie released in 2007 did him justice; it portrays just how powerful he is due to possessing the Power Cosmic (e.g. traveling at super speeds, phasing through solid matter, absorbing objects into his board [amazing], generating a sonic boom by clapping, etc). Furthermore, I'd say that it gets his stoic, poised personality right as well.

I want to see Silver Surfer in a Marvel film, despite Laurence Fishburne absolutely nailing the character.

How is that any different from Thanos? He stole the infinity stones as well and still lost.

The Secret Wars was created to sell toys.
Doom never got to fully exert the Beyonders powers.

Thanos has a movie about his conquest with Death.

The villians always lose. Thats not a point.

Dr. Doom is the better villain IMO.

But is no way on Thanos radar when it comes to his schemes.

If they were to create a villain equivalent to the Illuminati, Doom would be sitting at the head of the table along side Magneto and Osborne.

But Thanos is a cosmic threat.
Much larger than Dooms history and overall goals.

Earth/Latveria/Hell(mom) and the Galaxy/Universe/overall Deathare two different territories.

I'm hoping the Doctor Strange reference means we'll see him at some point. Hopefully in a James Gunn movie, a three-faced being would be right at home in one of his movies.
