I choked up when that happened. I've never choked up watching a movie. Powerful stuff.

I wanna see it again, with a big crowd, but everything left for the night in the good theaters is front row garbage.

Maybe try again tomorrow...or even next weekend if needs be.

I kind of would like to see it again before I write up my Letterbox'd review, take it in without the hype.

Minus one douche on a cell phone, my opening crowd was pretty epic. Cheering, laughing, gasping and crying....unsure any future crowd will top that.

Saw this earlier this afternoon in IMAX 2D. The theater was at capacity when the opening credits began, folks were laughing, clapping etc & everyone stayed until the after credit scene as well. Haven't seen that much audience interaction since TLJ. One of the best if not the best Marvel films to date. Really well made film all around. Highly Recommended! A solid 4.9/5!

Not to mention someone is introduced in one of the scenes in the credits, who has a big part to play in Avengers 4...if they stick with what happened in the comics.

Same. My audience today was pretty quiet though.

What's the 0.1 that takes away from it being a 5/5?

I’ve seen it twice now and this was one of a handful of Marvel movies that lived up to the hype for me. I didn’t get emotional at any parts like some did. Some of the action could’ve been shot better and I had a few other minor complaints, but it’s now my favorite MCU movie. One of my least favorite parts was much of Wakanda until
[Show spoiler]Thor’s arrival
. I loved Thanos and I’m happy they gave him so much screen time.

Pros: Thanos, Thor, Drax, Scarlet Witch, Spidey (liked him much better here than in Homecoming), Stark wasn’t as irritating in this as I’ve found him in some other movies, Doctor Strange and great action.

Cons: Black Panther, Black Widow, not enough Cap, not enough Hulk,
[Show spoiler]bad CGI of Banner in Hulkbuster and Black Widow didn’t die

Solid 5/5 for me.

5/5 almost certainly my favorite marvel movie. They did a great job balancing a huge cast and following different groups of characters. The 2 1/2+ hours flew by. The score was great and the actors were all I top of their game. I can't wait for A4!

Considering that someone had 4years growth between that scene and these movies, maybe

Not even movies like Coco made me shed a tear of choke me up. I did not expect this too. I guess its because I grew up with these characters , especially SpiderMan.

He was the only one who could feel something was wrong. Him saying "I don't feel good" was just sad. I guess Bucky did too but he disappeared faster.

Loved it. For a film with so many characters, they did a pretty good job in juggling all of the multiple storylines without getting lost in clutter. All of the Marvel characters had their moments and the film successfully set up the sequel for next year, including the end credits scene which worked well. That is the only downside; that we have to wait for a full year to find out what happens. For the most part, the humor was just right and did not feel forced or shoe-horned in just for the sake of a few laughs. As a villain, Thanos is a welcomed improvement over the last Avengers film, Age of Ultron. A solid 4.5/5. Very entertaining.

One other note: I had just seen Kodachrome, with Elizabeth Olsen, last week. I posted, on this site, that she is really making me like her more and more with each new performance she puts in. She has a quality that the camera loves and that comes across as genuine. She was also in my favorite film of 2017, Wind River, and she had a lot to do with why I really liked that movie. In this new Avengers film, she is one of the best things in it. In a film with so many strong characters, she stands out and gives the film some of its most emotional moments.
