Eh, maybe Paul Bettany as Vision. Vision is just an AI consciousness. He'd be very easy to recast and keep going for darn near eternity.

Seems like a waste to kill Vision. He was only just introduced 2 movies ago.

If it makes you guys happy I would guess returning everyone to normal at the end of the movies will be how it mostly plays out. These franchise machines now-a-days are too scared to make any real changes or consequences.

I feel like this one will be the exception to the rule. It won't be anything crazy like axing half the cast in my opinion, but I fully expect to lose 2-3 of the players we have so far between the two films.

I really hope they finally improve the quality of the effects for Thanos and he looks believable

Yeah, maybe. It's supposed to feel like an ending to the MCU, according to previous comments, so death could be part of that. I just worry that since the movies are still making a ton of money they won't want to permanently change anything or rock the boat too much.

considering how well the new character solo movie's are being received, I dont think Marvel are too worried about scrapping Iron Man, Thor, Cap etc in favour of different lead characters.
People will go see a Marvel movie due to brand trust now, so a lot of the hard sell an marketing is already done for when the likes of Doctor Strange or Captain Marvel movies are to be released.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lose a LOT of the starter characters (though whether they stay dead/lost is highly unlikely what with it being comic book lore)

I don't think he really looks all that bad to be honest. My only complaint was that they gave him human like eyes which was stupid as hell. Should have kept them kind of glowing like the comics to an extent. Or no pupils at least.

True, but if you think about it, something has to happen to him. He has the one stone, and Thanos needs that stone to complete the infinity gauntlet, so how does he intend to get it if Vision is in control of it?

am surprised he wasnt already

I figured all prior Marvel characters would show up in the Infinity War movies at some point (even if we only get half the Guardians of the Galaxy, they will still be represented ya know?)

Who else is going to send The Avengers into space, while casting a spell, allowing them breathing capability, when facing Thanos?

By the way, has anyone ever noticed this :

Kevin Feige already mentioned there are two Infinity Gauntlets out there, and here's our proof:

Left Gauntlet Avengers: Age of Ultron Mid-Credits:

Right Gauntlet from Thor:

I guess with TWO films, there's space to give back story on how Thanos acquired the left Gauntlet. they'd be crazy not to provide this pertinent info.

But his voice and hence his presence has been about since the first Iron Man, don't underestimate how much people will miss Vision

That nice Irish lady voice Stark uses now is way better than Bettany anyway. Bring on Iron Man 4 and give FRIDAY a big role!

Are there two in the comics?

Also, I wasnt paying enough attention to which hand he was grabbing but assumed he's broken into the vault and got the Asgardian gauntlet - which I (apparently wrongly) assumed would play a part of Ragnorok

Only one in the comics.

In an interview with Feige and a producer for Avengers: Age of Ultron press tour the producer let out a spoiler about the Guantlet. It was so funny because Kevin Feige gave him a look of "dude, really?!"

[Show spoiler]The producer responded to a press member's question with, "but which one is the real one!"

Ah yes, I remember now.
Maybe Thanos will still have something to do with Ragnorok as
[Show spoiler]The one in the Asgardian vault could be the real one

But thought there was just one in the comics (I've only read certain characters and limited Thanos runs, and although I've not yet come across a 2nd Guantlet, I know there are MANY more stories I've not read)
