Would have made it a whole lot easier to ACE some of those levels...

That just says it protects you from the atmosphere, not from fire or poisonous gases. Sounds like some bored writer just wanted to spice up his writing, and didn't mean to imply any benefits the suit provided.

I would but I cant even get on the game. It starts up, goes to the "important notice- do not turn off when HDD is loading", i dont, it puts me back to the XMB menu. WTF, is this anything to do with the euro launch? Anyone else getting this? Is a new patch coming out?

you might have a defective disc. i would take it back to where you bought it and get a diff copy. if not you can always delete the game data and reinstall the game.

I dont have a defective disc. It was the non-recalled version and ive had it for like a month and was playing it this morning. If I have to reinstall ill be pissed as I just got 100% and title of booty master just a day ago. I'm going to let the PS3 rest for awhile then try again. Add me if you want: Netguy503.

You wouldn't have to delete our game save file, just the game data. They're kept in two separate folders.

How so? If I install the game again, wouldn't I have to complete the three worlds again so it will allow me to go online? What about trophies?

the game data is stored seprately from the save game data. i think when you uninstall a game it asks you what to do with saved games.

How do i uninstall? I've never deleted an actual game disc game before only demos when I press the triangle button on the game icon (which I would do to delete a demo it only gives me these options ( start, eject disc, about game, information). No delete so how do I uninstall WITHOUT losing my saved game/trophies. Thank you very much guys.

Go to the 'Game Data' folder and manually delete the game files. Be sure not to delete the 'Saved Game' folder. Also its always good to backup your saved games with a usb drive. Also, don't worry about deleting your trophys as they are backed up on the PSN network.

Ok, I tried to delete my copy and reinstall it didn't work. Thing is, I have three profiles on my PS3 so I tried to open the game on another profile and it WORKED so its not a defective disc. I thought well maybe I could move the save data to the other profile before I delete it. I did, and tried to open the new profile's game with the save data copied to the other profile. This is where it gave me the same problem. So my save file is the thing that's corrupt this tells me. I have heard SEVERAL people complain about corrupt save files with this game. This only happened to me (I have had the game a number of weeks) when I went to the tutorial to learn how to create things. Well, several people have had game hiccups (BOTH BETA and retail) during the creation process. Be VERY careful when doing this in the game...at least I hope a patch comes out and soon.

I guess I will have to delete my save file but at least I have my save file copied into another profile and I can copy it back to mine when this is fixed. But I'm VERY upset right now. What I have learned from this as well is trophies are also kept in a separate folder so ill still be a booty master (100% on levels) but I will have very few items to show for it.

I recommend transferring your save files to a USB drive and formatting your PS3.

Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy that has completely formatted his PS3 alteast 6 times in the past month. So trust me, I know how difficult and time consuming it is to redownload and install games. Though its better than the alternative to not being able to play at all.

For example, look at me. I can't even play ANY Blu-Rays right now until my replacement laser comes in. I'm making the most of it though.

Yea, I feel for you man. This is why im probably never gonna to put in a new hard drive into my system. even though I only have a 40GB that is pretty much full by now there is just too many things that can go wrong and i don't trust playstation that much. It really sucks. I still haven't deleted the corrupt (?) save data. I'm gonna give it a night. And, since I know lots of other people got corrupt save data problems while creating levels as well, MM might announce another patch sooner or later.

As I said, I'm keeping a copy of my saved data on another profile for now so, if this is fixed soon, I can just transfer it back over but if its not, well, i might just have 100% by then again. LOL

The same thing just started happening to me.

Tried reinstalling the game but the same result.

Will call it a night and see if the same thing happens tomorrow.

I was having problems too, right after that screen my entire screen would just go red and freeze. Under the red screen i could slightly see it said "error loading game date". I thought my HDD was fried, I deleted my game data, re-installed and it worked ok so far.

I am most likely going to pick this game up tomorrow, but I want to know about this save issue.

Is it only when you are creating a game world that it corrupts?

Can you save the level you are making to another save "slot", so you don't lose your single player progress?

Well, it is comforting at least that im not alone in this problem. I hope EVERYONE who has this problem is emailing MM. If you dont, they wont know what to fix and you wont be helped. Hopefully that means a patch will be coming out soon. To the poster above, id be VERY careful when trying to create stuff. I heard from Neo gaf on both the beta and retail that they ONLY got saved corrupt files when they tried to create stuff.

I tried it out again this morning and I still cant get my game to load even after I delete the game data and reinstall. I have tried this on another profile and the game loads perfectly with no save data on it. This tells me my save file is corrupt. I'm going to have to delete the save file and start over. I have the save file transferred to my other account so I can copy it back on to the profile im using when they patch this sh**. But this really bothers me as I JUST got 100% and it REALLY discourages me to go from create mode from all the things I have heard.

If MM wants people to realize the full potential of their game they need to fix the bugs they have in this game. I'm now very nervous to go into create mode.

I'm sure I didn't quit while auto-saving though they should fix that bug as well as he pops up quite randomly and I see how it can be easy to not tell. There should be points where they ASK you if you want to save or not...not have some icon pop up randomly. Doing that should also not corrupt the majority of a 100% save file. I will include this in my letter to MM.
