Those two issues are pretty huge! I have issues playing online and I have issues playing offline. That's the whole dang game!

anyone know if my level is back up. I told myself I will never play this game till it is... no use in creating a level from my own mind, just to have it taken down...

Once the netcode is super-slick and they sort out the complexity issue it'll be rock solid. I'm glad they released when they did and have patched as quickly because it gives me a chance to play this amazing game.
Me too - I just want them to fix those issues - or at least be more vocal with their hardcore community/fans.

Well, to be fair, I feel you're giving them "a get out of jail free card" again. I think LBP's sales were under what they were expecting/hoping - so if they release a game that is about creating and sharing and say, "Whoa! We didn't actually expect everyone to do it!" is really short-sighted: Imagine if this game had performed like everyone had expected; imagine how many more levels/objects/created stickers would now be available. (Btw, I think sales are good - but I think we can agree it wasn't quite what was predicted).

As for the severe space limitations - I don't really understand why people can't use their hard-drives. Most people have a 40gig hard-drive or larger, much larger.

Anyway, I don't want to fill the thread with LBP bashing - but I feel like some of you would rather list "work-arounds" or brush off valid issues than keeping the heat on MM to fix what wasn't provided in the first place and fix new glitches that have been introduced.

Several people from this small thread have already quit or are planning to quit the game soon because of these issues. I hate to see that people are being chased away.

Btw, one thing that is not a glitch that I desperately wish MM would include - ingame music during creation mode. Listening to wind and dogs barking gets really old. (And no, I'm not interested in listening to the game music). I REALLY, REALLY want this!!!

Don't know buddy - haven't looked lately. Did they ever contact you to say why your level had been moderated?

Last time I knew it was because one thing in the level had been moderated from another level, so I have no idea... i was told if it was back up it would be at the latest this week..

Did they ever say anything about online create mode existing? This is a real question... Not trying to prove anyone wrong or anything.

Well, there is a trophy for it - I doubt the original plan was to power on your second controller while you create for the trophy.

The trophy was meant for two people in the same room to create together. They did state they the did have people creating together online, but took it away because they couldn't get it quite right...

I never knew also. The only "hint" I got was that one of my stickers had in the description "item moderated" so I figured that was the problem ( i knew that was the problem anyways)

I would have still liked to get the level back and made the changes myself though.

Cali, I saw you online creating a level today. So you must still enjoy the game even though you got your level taken away.

Upcoming Updates
As mentioned last week, Mm is hard at work to continue to improve the online experience in 09. We’re testing the newest update now and will let you know more as we near release. Also, wanted to assure you that we didn’t forget about “Online Create Mode” and the Play / Create / Share counters – it’s on our list to “check off” (hopefully soon)

When I first saw the trophy for multiplayer create, I never even considered that it was specifically designed with online in mind. I just made sure that when I was ready to make a level (although it is small and stupid and not worth keeping published) I had my roommate join in to lend a hand with the second controller. I guess that the easiest thing to do would be to simply turn on a second controller and make sure that a second sackboy is in the level just before you save it.

Yeah, for the trophy that works just fine - turn on the controller and you get the trophy almost immediately.

Still, that would be a darn lame trophy (The, "Turn on the second controller trophy"?)

LOL @ 2nd controller trophy!

There are a couple people I'd really like to collaborate with online though. I will say, it's not something I'll attempt unless everyone involved has a headset.

Yeah, there has been a few times where it would have been much easier to go into someone's level and brainstorm with them on something (like smoke monsters ) instead of going through lengthy PMs back and forth trying to explain it.

It would also be nice to be able to bring someone in your created level to show them how you got something to work (showing emitters, wires, etc.).

I'd love to be able to collaborate on a level with others from this forum.

By the way, I tried your latest level. Interesting idea - but some minor issues that I'll PM you about.

One thing i would like is to mute all game noises and audio instead of just audio, so I can use my tv and camera as a headset as it does not run out of juice.
