Congrats. I'm still on some of the easier levels trying to ace them. I've only passed the bunker once and haven't played it since. The spinning wheel makes me sick after a few trys.

From your XMB > Games > Saved Data Utility > Little Big Planet (Profile Data)

It should display a pic of your sackperson in the last costume you wore and list the date, time and file size of your most recent save

Oh man! I'm so close on my themometer and too much left.

At this point, I just hope I have enough space left to finish level. And even if I do, it will look a bit uglier than I would have wanted.

I'm making Puzzle Wheels II and was put weeks behind by glitch after glitch (still working on one) - but I finally see light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm just bummed out that an entire wheel won't be added, and I've had to delete my secret room and delete my mini-game that was to be included in the level.

It's probably for the best (although, I would have designed the level differently if I knew I was going to have to end it so soon!) - I'm sure when MM created the themometer they were thinking of people like me - "Hey! There's more space left - lets see what else I can fit in!"

So, I'm sad that I'll have to delete so much stuff - but I'll just be happy if I'm even able to finish it at all with the themometer soooooo close.

I hope to have PWII out this weekend if nothing else goes wrong. I'm not really totally happy with this level (and the quick ending to the level doesn't help). I was really hoping to make something special with this one - with lots of really fun lighting effects (that just won't be possible to do now.)

Oh well,

So, anyone else almost done with a new level for us all to test out?

I'm close and it will be my first published!!!!

Is there a way to make the time count up? I think my level should be a race to see who can finish it the quickest.

Just add "Race Gates" from your tools section.

I highly recommend having a trusted buddy beta-test you level before publishing it (if you haven't already).

You'll be surprised how many glitches you find when you invite someone to play your level and they do things like: Use something the way it was not intended, go the wrong way, don't understand what they are supposed to do in certain areas.

You can also see if certain areas are too hard or simply don't work in 2/3/4 player mode (if your level is intended for multiplayer).

Play it yourself many, many times - then get a few other people (I recommend more than one person cause people have different skill sets and different ideas on fixes/improvements). It can be disheartening when you see that something you've worked so long on simply doesn't work - but it will help you improve things before releasing a glitched product and getting horrible reviews.

I really don't think there any glitches playing as 1 player. I'll have to give it a shot with 2 players and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

Well, I don't mean "glitches" as in game freezes, etc. More like someone doing something you didn't intend.
  • Pulling down something that you didn't glue down and it blocks their way.
  • Falling inbetween some area you didn't know about and going off the level.
  • Flipping a vehicle and getting stuck.
  • Getting confused and not realizing there is a switch to progress. (Sometimes you need to light switches ect.)
  • Go somewhere they weren't "supposed to" and get stuck.

When I play my levels - I play them the way they were "designed" to be played. When others play them I'll sometimes find during the beta that I need to explain/direct what to do for them. That is bad - since I won't be there to explain to every player who enters my level.

Then add in 2 players! That can be frustrating. Camera angles need to be changed, obstactles don't work properly, etc.

Hope that clarifies. Hopefully everything works the way you intended.

For anyone that doesn't have it (and reads this thread) or if anyone wants a 2nd copy, Buy.com is selling LBP for $44.95, and shipping is FREE.

No idea if this is a permanent price drop they're doing, or just a temporary sale.

to remove stickers in hte sticker menu there is a tool at the top that looks liek a lasso .. select it and then click X on the sticker you want to remove and either hit circle to delete it or move it and hit X to place it again

i dont know what you mean exactly by infinite falling block but it likely is an emitter of some sort ..

Go to your sticker section in your popit - there are two white icons above the stickers. One is a camera tool to take photos - the other is used to pick up stickers you've placed and move or delete them.

For falling blocks you need to create the blocks - make 4 or 5 - then "capture" them using the capture tool in your materials section. (Looks like a white bag at the top). Then place an emitter and select those blocks to emit. You can change how often they drop, the angle, etc.

Hope that helps.

I picked up this game a few weeks ago, and is one of my favorite games ever. I aced all of the levels, and collected 100%.

I just puplished my first board, a combo platformer and music based on Mario Brothers. How do I find boards to play online though? If I search for puzzle wheel, if comes up with so many. There is no way to just type the exaxt name and get only that exact phrase?

You've aced it in a couple of weeks? Thats amazing. I've had it for a few months and still can't pass levels with out dieing. 100% may never happen for me.

If you're looking for a specific person's levels you can type "@" before their PSN ID in the search.

For example, if you are looking for my levels you'd type @CYMBOL and you should come up with all the levels I've made. (Just tried it - it comes up with all my levels - even my locked levels. And a couple of levels by some guy named Cymbot! )

It's a not a perfect solution to the search issues in LBP - but it's something. I think I did a search for Puzzle Wheels a few weeks ago and found it on page 5 or so, even though almost none of the levels on pages 1-4 had the word "Puzzle" or "Wheels" in their title.

Just be aware that Puzzle Wheels is a very lengthy level and can't be beat in just a couple of minutes. So, if you're planning on tackling it, be sure and set aside some time. Also, I wouldn't recommend it if you get motion sickness easily. An easier level that is multiplayer is "The Great Race".

Be sure and give the other member's levels in the forum a spin if you have time.

If you don't mind handing out your PSN ID - it will make it easier for us to check out your level.

Thanks for the info, I thought it was just me that can't seem to find anything I am looking for. It seems impossible to me to get the create trophy when my level is on page 15 of a search.

My PSN is: sssick

I thought I put it in my sig, but it doesn't come up.
