How the hell can half a level dissapear when the system is turned off? I was just about finised making my new level. I saved, played through it to make sure everything was cool. It was perfect. Then I turned off my system. I just went back and now HALF is missing. WTF??? This sucks.

I have 2 other levels built, but they are published and deleted off my moon. The level I am working on now it the only one on my moon. I have 1 online prize. I don't play much online. What gives? My red gauge still had an inch left too.

This glitch in the game SUCKS

Stephie was trying to tell you yesterday. You have too much saved.

When is the last time you went online? This is a glitch that affected me a few weeks ago. I couldn't save any work on my level.

The glitch - you have too many items saved and not enough space to save it, but the game does not give you the "Profile Full" message. They fixed that in the last patch the other week. Make sure you're game is up to date.

Delete community items that are junk, delete pictures you've taken (or ones taken automatically in people's levels), delete created objects you've made that you don't need anymore, and update your game by going online.

You should be good after that.

Sorry to hear about your work loss. Has happened to me too. I hate wasting my time - I don't have much of it, so I can't stand when I lose it.

I'm working on a new level and I try to do some timers (because I have a rotating parts that I want to start and stop at a specific time for some sort off animation) but when I unpause in creative mode to test it, then rewind to put back everything in place. The next time I unpause, the piston don't start at its initial point. Meaning that even the piston is at its initial point, if I rewind at the middle of its course, when I'll unpause, it will continue (internally) from the middle course

Its hard to explain, so I hope it makes sens...

But I guess what I want to know is what is the best way to do a timer? and do you test your level in creative mode unpause or you always go in play mode?

(for my timer I'm using a block on a piston with a key on the block and a key switch at the end of the piston course)

When you rewind - LBP - goes back to your last change. So, if the last thing you did was change the piston timer - when you rewind, it will go back to the piston time BEFORE you changed it.

To avoid LBP reverting back and resetting something you wanted to test out - create a block of material right before the test. Set it down, then pick it up and rotate it. Perform your test. Now, when you rewind, LBP will go back to the block being rotated. If you need to make more changes to the piston, go ahead - just change something on the block before testing (rotate, resize, etc.) Delete the block when you're done so you don't forget it there.

I test things out constantly. I test it many, many times in create mode - then try it in Play mode. (Sometimes you'll find small errors, like changing emitters to invisible, etc.)

Hope that helps.

I also just pause and and unpause the game instead of making a new object before i rewind. Same thing, just less work, as long as everything is set in your level.

But the problem is that I've made my timer with a piston in pause. I unpause to test. Rewind to "reset it". (so I'm in pause again) do some adjustment (or not... its the same results). unpause again... the piston don't start right away (seems like internally he continue its course where it was before I rewinded)...

I'll try to add the material as suggested by cymbol because that way I'll be sure to know up to were it rewinded

Ok, I just finished the level I made last night that got deleted. It is now published and I have gone through it. Everything was there and it worked great. Please give it a test and let me know what you think. It takes about 5 min to get through it. Haunted House 60119 is the name if it. Tons of sound effects were added to it.

As for saying good-bye to my free-time......YEAH! I've already bought like ten outfits, changed my outfit like every five minutes, played like five levels and all I want to do is..............

PLAY LITTLEBIGPLANET!!!!

I guess there is finally some silver lining to being laid-off from work.........FINALLY!!!!

You're not officially obsessed until you have dreams where EVERYONE (including yourself) appear as sackpeople...2 or more times a week...every week.
