They are a bit hard but you are right there is a satisfaction at the end when you finish it.

It takes a while to finish your levels as well and then the next thing you know so much time as passed

I think the Dream Catcher II will really be something to behold. I think I get "just a bit" better with every level - so hopefully, when people see this next one they'll feel like they got a bigger and more epic story level (with bigger visuals) than the first one.

Haha, when you said, "I'll have the level done by Saturday", I was thinking - "Suuuuuuuure".

Making a level takes a lot of time - but it's fun (most times). But yes, what you think will take hours becomes days - a week turns into a month. It can be a bit exhausting actually.

But it's nice when you get a comment on your level that someone really liked it - kind of makes all the hard work worth it.

I wasn't able to sign on to LBP this morning (kept getting an error). If anyone is playing their ps3 and has LBP could they check how many author hearts I have? Last time I looked it was 10.

Just the create trophy. I have 50 hearts for my empty levels. Last time I checked I had 14 author hearts.

Which means all I need is 16 more author hearts to get the LBP platinum.

Just go back to your moon - select "publish" and then "overwrite" the previously published level.

EDIT: Yes, your plays/hearts/comments will remain.

My kids played LBP when we first got it but it kind of got lost in the stack of all of the other new games that we had got around Christmas.

We recently pulled it out; I did the 13 updates which took 3 hours. All I have to say is WOW. You guys are awesome. I had no idea that the public could make such great games.

Working on the Shadow Realm effects - and the Thermo is creeping up again. . .

I'd be worried about having two Thermo cheats in one level. And, to top it all off I have weeks until I move. So little time. It wouldn't be till Oct that I get my stuff back in my new home and could continue to create.

I really hate to do it, but I might have to a bit less ambitious with this level. (Like usual, I'm probably trying to put too much into it anyway - I just don't know when to stop sometimes. I'm probably the poster child for why the Thermo was implimented in the first place.)

I wanted to leave LBP1 with an epic level - but I think I'll have to settle for a (hopefully), good one.

It just requires so much beta testing that it becomes exhausting at times. I even work to place sound ques so that when people listen to it on surround systems they hear enveloping rain, distant thunder etc. Wish I was less picky and detailed. I annoy myself sometimes.

I did let someone play up to the part before entering the Shadow Realm the other day - they said it was the best level they've seen on LBP. Of course, it is no where near that heighth of praise, but it was at least encouraging to hear.

Anyway, back to work.

I need to have this done in a couple of weeks - so hopefully, I'll be asking you all to try it out soon.

Nah, I think it just seems that way - I think I'm one of the ONLY people creating around here - so, it just comes across like that. Not hard being at the top of the list when the list is so short.

Also, I think I've had the pleasure of running into every frustrating glitch there is in LBP , so people tend to ask me for advice when it comes to creating.

Plus, I enjoy helping other creators when I can.

I hope my level, when completed, is just half as good as yours.
