I like the idea of the Kratos and Nariko sock puppets but a lot of people are going to have it. Not as unique anymore.

Amazon and the level design tutorial may be more to my liking.

Ya that's true. For the first while everyone's sackboy will look like Kratos. Although I really like the idea of having the Kratos parts seperate, so I can use the swords, for example, with another costume. Adds that much more customization.

Don't you play online with other people too? I'm pretty sure you see their sackboys as well.

That's true... I just dont see it as a reason to NOT go with the proeorder bonus if you really want those parts. The focal point of the game seems to be the levels to me. You can change appearance when you play, test your own levels, play local, etc. I dont know how to explain myself clearly on this one, but to me, its almost like saying Im not going to get Super Smash Bros because everyone is going to play as Mario at first.

I'm not say9ing everyone HAS to absolutely get it. I just thought the reason sounded weird.

Oh I'm definitely pre-ordering it. It's free after all. But that guy does have a point, everyone and their dog will have a Kratos sackboy at launch. Not to blame them either, it looks absolutely fantastic.

If you really want both what you should do is preorder both of them, one at Gamestop/EB and the other on Amazon. Now, you get yours from Amazon in the mail, enter your code from Gamestop, and then go back to Gamestop and transfer the preorder to another title you really want (say, Resistance 2). Or you can just get your $5 back.

Ta-da!

I wonder how easy/difficult the building mechanisms will be. . . in other words, will my wife be able to use this?

If they make this easy to use, but hard to master - they could have a real winner on their hands ie. Something that could/would be played wife by both guys and girls. Right now, my wife plays Rubberducky, PAIN, Velocity Bowling, or does the singing on Rockband.

Be nice if this was something that was easy enough for the masses to pick up.

That's the only thing that worries me on this title. Will my wife and kid be able to do this, or will this turn into me doing everything while they watch and eventually lose interest?

I kind of want the Nariko one just so I can manipulate the hair to be closer to how it is in the game.

I've seen banners that drag around with you. The hair could be something similar.

Its an avatar. It needs to be as unique as possible. The parts however are fine...

It seems to me that they're really shooting for the casual gamers with this title. I don't see them making it one of those games that's impossible to get your head around, they want people to just have lots of fun with it. And from what I've seen, they're doing a fantastic job getting there.

i might buy a regular guide for this game so im thinking bout passing on the amazon pre-order. is it a downloadable guide, or is it a hard copy?
