The most important lesson I learned in high school came from my philosophy teacher, citing Leo Tolstoy: Art is infectiousness. Never before in gaming have I seen a better example of such infectious joy, infectious creativity, and (even at this early stage) an infectiously excited community. Yes, the level editor has its quirks, and the movement planes can be finicky -- but I don't care about perfection when I'm having this much fun. And the longer it's out, the better it'll become. I, for one, can hardly wait.

I'm trying to figure out how to use the creature legs. I've put a brain and told it to follow player, but it doesn't follow me. Do I need wheels or can it follow with legs?

Nice review and yeah, the review scores for this game should be pretty high. I am having some network issues though so I hope they sort that out before the big hit tomorrow.

Omigod, this game is INCREDIBLY fun. What started out as a brief skimming ended up being a full banter. I didn't expect LBP to be as living up to its hype, but damn was I wrong. My little brother and I were laughing and screaming the entire time. We're stuck at the "Boom Town" stage, but we had a lot of laughs in that stage alone.

Kratos, Medusa, and Minotaur were downloaded with a hitch. Note that the costumes aren't already preset so you have to outfit your character to look like K, Med, or Min. Kratos comes with his own skin, swords, and gear. Medusa has the skin, face, gloves. Minotaur has similar stuffs as well as hooves. Couldn't access the custom items for building your own level. The code doesn't give a level; rather, it's for stickers and items for making your own level.

Having a blast just trying to get the hang of Sackboy. Looks like the servers are still down.

Going by the one in the first stage (the one that gives you tips), I think it was hanging. Hanging from something on a pulley, and that pulley was either moving or following you? Not sure, but I would try that. hang it from a rope, then put some movement in the legs, to simulate walking.

i was hoping on getting some multiplayer trophies before i hit the sack. oh well. off to work at 6 am...

so i decided to redeem my kratos code since the servers are having trouble and i cant really play lbp right now. went to remove the sticker and part of the code came with it. i tried to slowly remove the stuck on part, but most of it ripped off and i was only able to recover one number and part of the other. so im missing 2.5 numbers/letters. lame.

hopefully gamestop will give me another

Well I created a level tonight, just for fun. I was going to publish it, but the servers are down.

Anyway, it'll give me more time to make it more interesting tomorrow anyway!

woo lol. i beat some single player levels myself and also touched up a bit on my currently up level. i noticed the rocket sometimes decides it wants to fly in circles and not straight up...lol. oh well. i did what i could but the update wont hit the level till the servers are up. i hope they didnt erase all of our stats!

I did more single player tonight. The only multiplayer stuff I could figure was the couple just listed on that first page. I had it say a guy was about to join, but he never popped in, and about half way through a message said he was leaving. Maybe he couldnt get in?

And where do we find the user created stuff exactly?

Has anybody gotten the "Hi Score: Collect 1,000,000 points over all levels you have played" Trophy yet?

Just curious if your total has to add up to 1,000,000 points for all the levels once you beat the single player.

Or if you can just repeat the high score single player levels over and over again until you accumulate 1,000,00 points

I know this should probably be in the trophy thread but i wanted to ask in the LBP topic.

I realllly hope they fix the lag with the servers. It's impossible to do anything while connected to the servers. I have to log myself out of PSN just to play this game most of the time.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but weren't Gamestop order supposed to come with a GOW themed level? All I got with my code was the Kratos, Minotaur, Medusa & sticker pack. Wheres the level at?
