By reading dome of the replies that there are server issues and I understand that (game is so new...and servers aren't prepared for what they are expecting to be the most popular ps3 game). Does anyone else have temp freezes and extremely long loading times (even in world menu) when playing the SP portion? It to the point of unbearable to me. Ill have a 50 second race to exit and have to wait about 3-4 minutes to even get into the wold map.

I played up until around 9:30 EST last night and experienced some lag but nothing to degree you were experiencing. I had short 3-5 second freezes mainly and loading times were relatively short.

I had this, and it was because the online servers were slow. I could watch my router as the PS3 tried to talk to the servers after every level.

At least for me, it wasn't load times, it was time spent trying to talk to a non-responsive server.

Ok.. I played this morning with absolutely no problem. Of course the game couldn't connect to the servers at all so it was completely offline.


It is kind of annoying that the SP experience is so tied to online portion that it actually slows up that portion of the game. Maybe it will be fixed by the time I play tonight (better servers)

We all should definately start playing together to get the 2x Player stickers. I already got most of them with my wife, but I had to delete my save file so I lost them all.

If anyone sees me online and notices that I'm playing LBP, just shoot me a message if you want me to join and I don't mind helping you out even if I already got the stickers or not.

Just an FYI to all LBP players, the PS Eye is on sale on Amazon.com right now going for $22.98! The reason why I'm stating this is that you can import your own stickers with the camera feature.

I picked one up just for this game!

I actually was up late Monday just trying to get 100% on some various levels with 50-60% complete. I had 3x and 4x stickers on them, so i grabbed all the remotes and used packing tape on the "grab" button (all players had to turn a top heavy wheel to a certain spot using a pointer on the wheel, and hold it in that spot until all 4 players were lined up properly, then once that is done the sliding wall entrance opens up, and everyone can let go) tough but doable on your own if you have that many controllers) to hold the 3 other remotes in place while i did the 4th remote and grabbed the stickers. It was fun,, glad no one saw me doing that, they would think i was nuts . 2x are easy usually on your own, the 2nd player quite often might have to jump on something so you hold your remote and jut tap x with your finger and get ready to guide your Sacboy when he gets tossed in the air for example.

I guess my point of the post is, be creative to get around the barrier of multiple people if you happen to be alone at the time. Its fun!

I only have 2 controllers at home or else I"d probably do that. I did a lot of the 2x ones with my spare controller and even that was difficult to do! You good sir deserve some sort of award!

Yes, which you usually get 2 costume items for.

EDIT: Please keep in mind that if you are playing it with someone else and THEY die, you do not get the Aced status.

learned that the hard way with my brother last night.. does the aced costumes count towards 100% finding everything..

and man what about the lag last night lol.. i wasnt even playing online but damn. when the servers were down it was smooth as hell, i was playing SP with my brother and it was lagging like hell

hey guys, im having trouble traveling to an incredible height. i used a jet pack and hit the ceiling, so i don't know how im supposed to do it if thats not how.

i got the incredible speed trophy last night though. i built this massive rocket and weighted it to the left side. it lifted off verticaly and then started to accelerate horizontally straight into the end of the level at an incredible speed. it was freakin awesome.

Once the servers are done taking a crap, there are plenty of user levels out there to help you achieve those trophys and will be titled as such.

Oh and Xerios, until they work out server lag issues, if you are going to be playing Single-Player when you start LBP do not agree to the EULA agreement and you will not connect to the network.

I know for certain, 100% does not include the Ace reward. I got 100% on the first level, but didn't ace it since I was still figuring things out (sticker triggers, grabbing little birdies) and then went back later for the Ace.
