Just wanted to let people know, my second level is out and published - Legends of the Hidden Temple. It is based on the 90s TV show on Nickelodeon and has lots of perilous rooms in the hunt for the treasure. Not as hard as my Metroid level (for those who've played it).

Check it out and win some prizes and set a high score! Don't forget to heart it!

There is a pretty cool Batman level, a fun Pac-Man maze re-creation with rockets.

My daughter (5 years old) and I play every night before bed. We just play online levels people created and just laugh.

I have not touched the game in Sinlge-Player campaign mode... we only have completed 3 levels... up to the Mexican wedding level... great stuff...

There is a great God of War level online too.

Heh - shameless self-promotion.

I like the level overall. Found you made the block hights just high enough to be annoying, but not impossible. (Needed a running start on most). The jumping on the first two glass platforms were a pain, but they didn't get me killed or anything.

First try I even made it through the race gate, though with only a fraction of time left.

I've noticed that a lot of people have commented on mine stating that my levels are 'frustrating', which can be interpretted in different ways.

To me personally I make my levels difficult as I like a challenge.

Did you find it challenging in a good way or an annoying/bad way?

EDIT: If you found it to be annoying/bad, how do you recommend me to improve it in the future? Obviously right now I plan on making longer/more complex levels, but this level was just to get my feet wet.

Did anybody have trouble with the last section of levels? I can't get past the 2nd level of this section (The Bunker???) where it has the spinning wheel (maze like) you have to jump to the various platforms without touching the electric ground. Just curious. It was frustrating not getting past it my first few tries.

Yes, I tried playing this Online but kept on failing because the camera zooms out too far with multiple people.

It just take perfect timing, took me a few trys but I passed.

My wife and I played through the game co-op and the wheel part was the only problem we had as far as camera angels and such.....It got pretty frustrating.

I thought it was frustrating in a bad way. Jumping up the glass stairs, then turning to jump onto the first platform was really, really annoying. I also ran into another issue... I made it all the way left, up the winch, and onto the next couple platforms. After that I fell to the ground. I must have knocked the first sponge swing on the way down, because it got hooked onto something and was unreachable. So after struggling for another 5 minutes to get off those stupid glass stairs I found I couldn't go any farther. I was not a happy camper.

I noticed that during 'Create Mode' that the sponge swings do that and I cannot figure out how to do that, but it rarely happens. Any ideas how to fix it?

If you fall off the glass stairs to the right, there is a small triangle block you slide over to help to climb the stairs. I put it close to the wall to the right.

You want to hit the jump button as the platform is at its peak coming back up while you are still in contact with it.

My brother and I did this last night and what we did was instead of jumping we hung onto the platforms and dropped down to the next one making our way down and across. The last section of the wheel was a bit tricky tho. I have a feeling it was more luck than anything else. But definitely hanging onto the platforms is the way to go.

I'd look at lowering the highs between steps a hair. I found I had to do a running jump to get from the ground up the steps to the glass. I say you should just lower them a little since they really didn't add a ton of challenge or jeopardy, but if you had to go back up the steps, not being able to do it from a standing hop is a little frustrating.

The first two glass platforms was the only other frustrating part to me, but I'm torn on you changing that at all. It's pretty obvious that that is the point of the challenge there - running on the glass. The problem is that running on glass is hard in the game and you need to know what you are doing or you'll have a real hard time getting momentum and making the jump. If you do want to make it easier I would expand the platforms a little and shrink the gap.

As I said though, I got where you were going with it, so that one straddles the fine line between frustration and challenge.

Here is how I did it:
[Show spoiler]After the first section of the wheel (right where the life marker is) you can actually hang on to a fabric object at the end of the first section. I used that object to get onto the "roof" of the second section and run across most of it from the top. You eventually hit a point where you have to fall, and it's hit or miss, but I found that 50-75% of the time that would drop me safely before the last set of platforms - then it's just a matter of getting through those.

Hopefully that makes sense - it's not a sure fire way to do it and it may actually be more frustrating for you, but that is how I got through it.

In regard's to PA_Kid's post:

I see what you mean and I'll definately reconsider lowering it a bit eventhough after I created the level I had it lowered before and my wife told me to raise it so its more challenging for others. Apparently it is a bit too challenging as not everyone knows that you need to jump to get a running start.

So to compensate I'd just throw in numerous glass platforms you need to leap across or else you fall into a firepit or something!
