Well I published a "level". Its more of a basis for some pieces and parts that I have made. Its called "Little Big Hockey" if anyone would like to check it out (or even heart it ).

Its very short however I made the things in it from scratch. Basically pieces to the puzzle for the big level Im planning.

Anyways check it out and let me know what you think. Just dont expect too much

Def. very short but still , had a good laugh. Definitely some work to be done, if you don't kill the guys they all bunch up and it can be hard to finish the race. Went ahead and hearted you and the level

As for me, I'm almost done with my level. Tomorrow i'll be putting in the "finishing" touches like music and the textures. I'm liking it, it's pretty hard but I still enjoying playing it. Hopefully people will enjoy it. Will let you guys know when it's up

Ok, need some help with building my cagematch level. Hoping one of you guys might be able to save me a load of experimentation time.

I have a door that I want to start down/flat, then upon a trigger/button, it moves 90 degrees to straight up (kinda like a drawbridge). I'm currently using a wobble bolt, but I'm having trouble finding the right combination between the bolt settings and the trigger settings to getting to effectively close (move from flat to upright) once and then not again.

The hardest part of what I'm trying to do is set up a detection of when all the participants are in the cage, and starting it rolling - then stop it at the end and open the door back up.

Once that's figured out, the few things I have left should be pretty easy to wrap up - then I'll need some people to help test it since it needs 2-4 people to really experience it correctly (I'm even locking it off from single players).

Cymbol - I have another idea for you to potentially make "save points" and level access without doing a level key (cant believe I hadn't thought of this earlier). I'm going to start the test lab level thread now and suggest a way for us to lock off the levels - I'm sure you'll immediately see where I'm going.

Hey guys, I appreciate that you both have opinions about certain situations - but please keep it in PM's. Anything LBP related (playing, creations, etc) would be most welcome.

Thanks guys,

I'm very interested. . . . so, this is going to be your first level? I was going through and playing friend's levels yesterday, and I don't think you had one up.

That should be fairly easy - set a regular bolt - then attach a switch that changes the direction the bolt moves. When pulled, it will switch and "Pull up the drawbridge".

Play the "World of Colour" level to see what you're planning in action. (I just happened to play it today and it has the exact mechanics you are looking for.)

I could think of a way - but you would need it to ALWAYS be 4 player required or something. (Basically, just set 4 triggers and mark 4 locations for them to stand to activate it.) Again, that means no 3 person or less could play.

I didn't know you could lock out single players. That's pretty cool.

I'm up for testing when it's ready!

I f***ing hate trying to ace the bunker. By the way there is a kind of cheat for ppl trying to ace levels, when you know you are about to die, pause game and turn off controller, then turn it on again and you ll respawn without losing any lives

BTW, Morphine picks the most retarded levels to go to CONFIRMED. LOL

OMG, what was that fire lvl we just did with the car at the beginning? Everyone go play it now. SO AWESOME!

I'm being sarcastic here.

While this does technically work, it only works if you know you are about to die. Unfortunately most of your deaths will be completely random, and/or happen too quickly for this trick to be of much help.

Well, in the fire levels, as you have to be struck twice before dying in works as a charm. Not so good with lightning

Well a regular bolt only has a tightness tweak - that's why I'm assuming it needs to be a wobble. The problem is I can't seem to get the tweak specs right. If I have to I guess I could use a winch, but I'd rather just do it with a bolt.

Well at the moment, I have a specific idea in mind how to do it, but struggling with execution.

I'm thinking of putting a proximity trigger near the entrance and invert it so that while anyone is in the proximity, the switch is off, but when none of the sack people are in range (which would mean they all are in the cage, which is what I want) then it would turn on.

The more I've been thinking about it I think I'm going to make it a 2 stage trigger. I'm going to try to tie the inverted trigger to a magnetic key on a rod, and just have it move to and set off the magnetic trigger. (if that makes sense).

You actually already mentioned how to do it - it's just going to be a x2 type of trigger. In this case one person will have to stand on a button to winch the 2nd person to the top of a dissolve block with a button on it. The button will then disolve the block and both people will be able start.

Were the servers down for anyone else earlier?

I tried playing a few hours ago (maybe around 5-6pm) and couldn't connect, so after 4-5 attempts, I just quit and played another game.
