They are... but obviously not for copyright content which is being offered as official add-ons to the game. In this case, any MGS levels that are created respectfully will be allowed to remain.

So Dec. 23rd for the MGS stuff huh? I'll be buying the costume pack and the level stuff! $5.99 per pack......isn't that bad considering what you get!

The costume pack is a bit expensive, but the level pack? You get quite a bit in there.

Haven't played LBP much lately (been playing Dead Space) but this MGS pack looks awesome and should be what I need to get back to it. Much better than charging so much for a couple costumes every week. This is more the way DLC should be done.

The new search functions alone were very nice.

The MGS stuff will be a must buy - yeah, I guess the paintball gun is a game changer, especially when you combine it with the paint switch.

I like the fact that the create/new level-side packs are more value-packed. My guess is that costumes cost so much because of what % of owners buy each one.

I'm more than willing to pay 5.99 for packs of that level monthly if they were available. (And yes, I know it's ~10% of the original games cost, but I think of the ad-hoc costs for new levels/tools like a reduced MMO fee

)

I'll probably pass on all the costumes (I really like Screaming Mantis, but I don't care much for having extra costumes).

However, I'm really happy with the price for the content back, and will buy that up instantly. The paintgun alone makes it worth it, but the 12 new materials is also pretty nice.

The only downside is that now I expect to see too many MGS levels, to go along with the excessive amounts of Ninja Warrior, and Trophy levels. With so many MGS-themed items/elements being added to the game, I almost feel like LBP was invaded.

Hey hey hey, don't go claiming you were right. Technically it's less than $12 ($11.98), and at one point you were saying it could be $20.

Although your estimate of "nearly 1/5" was pretty close.

It's ok, they are also looking to partner with Disney, so eventually balance will be brought to the force.

On the other hand, we also know that are doing something with Square/Enix, so if that comes first expect more darkness before the light...

If people are expecting a new level pack MONTHLY because of this, you've got another thing coming. Even though small, this kind of project is WAY too extensive to be pulled off monthly. MAYBE bi monthly, or every three months. I do, however, expect there will be new costumes every week in the meantime.

Oh, I hope every level pack after this comes with its own trophies. That would be SO AWESOME!
