It really is - it was there since product launch. Not like something they included in an update that didn't work. I truly wonder if it will ever work; and if they do, I wonder if it will only track stats starting now or provide all data since the game began.

I think I am done with this damn game. Once again either my save game is f'd up or the stupid save glitch has bitten me again. I aced a level yesterday, went to put on the outfit item today, and it was gone. Sure enough, level not marked as aced. So I did it again....and again....and again....

After each time I let the running guy icon go away then quit. When I reloaded, no ace. Why should I try and do anything else when it can't keep that??

On top of that I tried playing online with on of our members, and for some reason the chat bubbles wouldn't show on my screen. Makes it kinda tough to communicate.

Back to Civ for me for a while. No trophies and no save game bull.

did you buy the MGS level pack ?? if so delete your community items and all will be fine .. i did that and had no problems since ..

I really have problem with lbp server. I've tried again to play with a friends, and we can't connect. We both can play with random people, but not togheter. Our web connexion is NAT2 so I don't see any problems there. It is quite frustrating not be able to play with friends (and even more for my friend who I convinced her to buy the game so we can play togheter...) I hope they are working to improve the server

me and a buddy of mine have some issues as well ... he cant ever join me .. wether i send him and invite or he asks to join me .. it always errors out .. but i can join him no problem .. i can join him and then leave to my own pod and he can follow with no problem .. he just cant join me straight out .. its the wierdest thinkg ever .. we have no problem when playing together at all though ...

I've seen that on lbp forum. Some says its the internet connection either one is not NAT2 or an other guy said that it was because its upload speed is not good.

But in my case it don't work whatever who's the host

had the same problem last night Cymbol. I failed to load once on Winter Wonderland, then the PS3 froze when I tried to exit the level. I was able to Quit Game though, didn't have to restart the PS3.

See - that's the problem with LBP. We have to jump through hoops just to play the game. It is crazy that there has to be sooooo many work arounds to get the game to work like it's supposed to.

Yeah, as I've said before, many times - MM is going to glitch themselves out of a customer base. I could seriously name at least 20 issues off the top of my head. It really sucks cause this is my favorite game to come out since Warhawk (the only other game I play really) and it is a constant headache.

I have a buddy on my PSN list and we can't play together - ever. I can join 4 other people and play no problems - him, we've tried everything. We'll just never be able to play the game together it seems.

Did you ever try "The Great Race" zedd? Based on your Puzzle Wheels experience - Winter Wonderland might be difficult. (Seriously - just trying to save you some frustration). I appreciate that you tried to check it out. Thank you.

It does indeed seem to be a LBP server issue (which they claimed was fixed over a month ago). I had about 6 people who said they couldn't get into Puzzle Wheels and all have since gotten in.

I have almost left this game a few times. It would really help if MM would at least acknowledge these many issues and let the fans of the game know that they are working hard.

I DON'T need to here that their vacation was great and more DLC is on the way.

I seriously couldn't recommend this game to anyone in it's current form - which is a really sad commentary on MM's performance with their game.

Name these 20 issues then.

The only major problems I see are the Profile Size one (which covers being unable to load levels etc) and possibly the white screen one. Nothing like this litany of mistakes your alluding to.

yeah i hate to say but the few ( yes you are few now ) people still having major issues .. im gonna have to go out and say that its YOUR end now not MMs .. i have zero problem these days .. yeah the MGS save bug was annoying but i have seen that kind of bug in many games many times before .. it didnt make people quit playing a great game ... christ when i first got NHL2008 on 360 last year i couldnt even save the damn game EVER !!!!!! i still played the hell out of it ..

Heck, the first two were supposed to be included with the original $60 purchase.

These are off the top of my head - there are others I can't think of at the moment.

I could list the many, many issues resolving around creation and sharing:
Don't use the PS3Eye - cause it will eat up all your space.
Don't collect objects from user levels - cause you won't be able to save after a while.

They actually say to delete objects you've made/collected to be able to save your progress and/or level.

Kind of destroys the whole idea of "sharing", doesn't it.

You know what - I won't even bother going into all the issues in Creation Mode. I've spent countless hours in there and don't feel like going over the many issues they could fix (that are all over the LBP forums.)

We can agree that this is one hell of a game - but that doesn't give MM a free pass on the glitches (which actually have grown since launch).

I've put more hours in this game and on this forum and others with this game, so it's not coming from someone who "doesn't know" what the game has to offer.

I'm upset because I'm a fan - and the game has many broken areas (whether you experience them or not, many do). I just want to be able to play the game as advertised and not have to have so many work arounds (delete your objects, delete your game saves and start all over, etc. etc.).

You give it a free pass if you want - I'm going to be vocal and hope MM fixes it. One thing is going to happen sooner or later - They'll fix it, or I'll stop playing. I'm still holding out for the fix.

But this just breaks down into two broad categories.

Server - Play, Create, Share; Online Create (You can get the trophy with Offline Co-Op Create), White Screen, Any and all server Issues, Publishing Clith, and the Long times frames for rewinds in create mode, and most freezes.

Size/Complexity Problem - Profile Size, Save Issues (MGS and 100%), Capture Glitch and 50 spaces on the moon.

The glue on is mostly people not realising what's glued to what so everything ends up glued together. You unglue one and it all goes to pot. Accurate tracking of whats glued to what should stop this. I had it a few times with my first level but worked out what I did wrong.

MM have said that they didn't anticipate some of the Size/Complexity issues. Stuff that couldn't be taken into consideration until the game went into the wild so I won't hold it against them. Apparently its going to be a bit longer to fix (Feb or so), but it doesn't help that idiots take all the Community Prizes and put them all on one level. So someone completes the level and massively blows their "complexity" profile size. (I think of the profile having a thermometer as well so stay away from things that I think would blow it)

As for the server issues, I'm sure they've got them on a priority to fix.

I understand that its frustrating (quick tip, sign out of the PSN before you Create. That speeds up rewind LOADS, and stops LOADS of crashes. And if you must got online make sure your wired. You wouldn't believe the difference my friends and I see between that and wireless!) but saying there's 20 issues when there's really about 4 doesn't really send the right message.

Thanks for all the tips listed in your post.

Again - I am annoyed because I'm a big fan of the game - not because I'm a hater.

However, grouping the issues is being too lenient. Each is it's own specific issue and needed fix.

The glue issue is just a glitch. I unglue something - it all falls apart. I'll rewind, do it again, it all falls apart - do it again and it works.

Again, yes, there are fixes/work-arounds - but there shouldn't have to be. That is the point. I wonder what happens to people who don't visit forums to find out how to get around these issues.

However, I don't care about the trophy - I actually want to be able to create with other people - so yes, online is needed (and was supposed to be part of the game).

No probs and I didn't want to come across as having a go at you. Far from it. But cruising the LBP forums online has lead me to see that there are only 2 or so broad issues affecting the game.

Once the netcode is super-slick and they sort out the complexity issue it'll be rock solid. I'm glad they released when they did and have patched as quickly because it gives me a chance to play this amazing game.

i certainly wouldnt blame MM with the profile size thing .. i dont think they expected every idiot under the sun to give away a 1000 objects in a level .. they cant create an infinite amount of space for each person ..so there are going to be limitations ..
