Sounds interesting, and well done, but like you said, I'm not sure what I'd ever use it for.

bam here is the video in question

watching that movie made me realize how I hated the fact they removed the six axis to control the jetpack.
Yeah, I saw that on youtube a long time ago - I thought it was pretty freakin' sad. What I want to know is - what would have happened if she had chosen "no". Maybe an electric block would have dropped on her?

What I thought was also funny, is - she keeps playing! Oh well - hopefully, there both hardcore gamers and this was really special to them. To each their own.

Btw, toefer - what happened to the Chaplin avatar. My favorite was that kid with the huge pencil. What was that pic? Funny!

Haha. Well last week I got into a thread where we kept changing avatars, and then later I watched a video of Elvis on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI94AsuvUUA funny, yet sad), so I paused it and took an image from that because I thought he looked funny.

The others will eventually come back. Whether it's the Chaplin one or the angry kid (which I found funny, because something about what he's writing is making him crazy).

I hope that the LBP video was just someone playing the level...either the guy who made it demo'ing it, or some random stranger (though I imagine the level was locked/not published).

I'M DONE WITH LBP.

Well, that's it guys, looks like I'm out. I think I'll be going back to Warhawk or something. Maybe try those tons of demos I've been putting off.

A buddy PM'd the other night and asked if my levels have been saving. He said, he would add things, then go back and they weren't there. I told him no, but then went into my level and my race gates I added were gone. Ok, I might have forgotten to save - let's blame me for this one. I added them back, and added the last wheel for Puzzle Wheels II and did some editing. Saved. Go back - it's all gone.

Ok, so today, I re-do it all. Save it. Go back in - it's still there! Whew! That's fine - I'll save often just in case (even though I DEFINITELY should not have to keep jumping through hoops just to play this game! ) But, I restart the PS3 - go back into my level - it's all gone again. Even after I had verified that it saved.

So, that's it. I'm done.

I literally can't play this game anymore (in creator mode). Maybe I'll check back in after the next update and see if they fixed more than they screw up this time. But I'm just done with it.

I'm very upset that Puzzle Wheels II will never be finished.

You've been the best community of people to play this game with.

Hope to catch you in another game.

Haha, well - seriously, I'd stay and play if I could - unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be an option. . . . soooooo.

I've had more fun with this game and community and truly enjoyed being creative in the game - but the game is broke.

I think MM owes me $60.

CYMBOL...

I know you shouldn't have to, but deleting community objects that you don't need will fix this.

It's not a space issue. I save the level - come back and it's not there. I am not getting an save errors (Profile to big, etc.). I even saved it. Went back in and it was there. Rebooted the PS3 and it was gone. I've rebuilt the beginning of the last Puzzle Wheel 3-4 times now. It's gone everytime I go back. I can't save my work.

It's happening to another guy too.

Can't keep creating if the game won't save it. And since, most of what I do is create on this game - that pretty much ends for me.

Ya that was me, page 250. I have never had the pop up saving there was space issues either. But deleting all the stuff I didnt really need worked, has saved fine since and the mgs level progression saves too. MM needs to set more space aside.

I see. Actually, I got another message from a buddy on my PSN list (who had the problem and asked me about it before my issues started) - he said the same thing.

A buddy of his deleted items from his community objects and he seems to be able to save again. He's not sure if it's related to certain kinds of items.

Well - I suppose it's worth a try.

So much for "Sharing" - only if you want a game ending glitch!

What's the use of creating objects to give to people if it crashes their game. I know MM is working on lots of updates - but instead of working on new costumes they need to have EVERY SINGLE resource devoted to fixing these issues.

Thanks for the info - I'll give it one more shot - if it drops my stuff again - I won't bother trying again till the next update comes out. If it still doesn't work after that - the game is getting traded.

I've never had to work this hard to play a game.

Other then the MGS game pack (I already have it), Whats the next best add-on? What has the best materials? The animal costume pack looks cool. Is there anything that comes with it?

Only the holiday themed packs have materials included.

The X-Mas pack has several stickers and "wrapping paper" cardboard material.

The V-Day pack has 4 materials - 1 cardboard, 2 grabbable, and 1 wood. All V-Day themed, hearts, roses etc. and several stickers.

All in all, the V-Day pack give you more for your money, but again, unless you are making something specifically with V-Day or a "love themed" level - it won't be much use.

I like creating - so, I like to have all materials available for whatever floats my boat at the time.

All the other "packs" are costume packs only.

Ok, thanks for the info. I love creating to, but don't see myself useing hearts for anything. I'm more into horror themes.

Well everyone - it appears it's even worse than I thought. I figured I'd go ahead and delete all the community objects I collected and try one more time. (Although, why in the world I should have to is beyond me).

So, I deleted everything - made a small change - went back in - it's gone. Did it again, restarted the PS3 - all changes gone, level is back to the way it was.

THIS IS THE CRAZY PART! All those community level items I deleted - are back!

I don't know if it was the V-Day pack or what - but my stuff won't save. Anything, even deleting items.

So, unless someone knows of a work-around - I'm out of LBP.

Oh, and MM owes me $60 plus the extra $ for the DLC I bought.

I wonder if the servers are having some issues. Has this problem been going on for a while? If it's relatively new, I wonder if Mm will say anything about it. Seems like the servers aren't being update, and profiles are just reverting back to some previous version, so that all changes (to levels, deleting items, etc) are only temporary.

They told me to do this just to get a PS2 game to play. I'm not going to do it cause I don't want to loose what I have saved. Maybe it will work for you.

It's not just me - others are reporting the same exact issue. Others, like me, are guessing it's related to the Valentine's Pack.

http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/...cending&page=1

I started a thread over there also. I haven't searched for more threads - but I'm sure it's not just me - someone had a very interesting (and very disturbing) theory.

I'm off to bed now - I'll test it out and let you know if it helps, and if it's true.

(Don't want to warn everyone off of something if there is no need - but it sounds like a reasonable theory).

Obviously, I can't play the game (especially create) if it won't save my progress, or anything I do, for that matter.

I played Warhawk and MagicBall today instead.

I appreciate it - but I'm not losing all my data just to play one game. All my other games, blu-rays, videos, music, etc. etc. etc. work just fine.

Only LBP is messed up. If I can't get it to work - I'll trade it in for a game that does. I'm not going to keep fighting this game just to play it. I'm trying one more thing - if that doesn't work - the game goes on the shelf or gets traded in when a game comes out I want.

Thanks anyway.

Yeah. I figured if it's a problem with the servers, that it's bound to effect tons of people. I know nothing about technology, but I imagine all the player profile data is stored across multiple systems, and maybe one of those has some sort of problem going on, causing all the profiles stored on that one to not update (which could explain why this problem affects some people, but not everyone).

For a game that plans to rely so heavily on DLC and millions of micro-transactions, you'd think Mm would figure out quickly how to release stuff without causing problems. I know this isn't the first time (MGS pack caused problems for some as well), but how long will it keep happening?

Obviously if it keeps happening, it could hurt DLC sales, because people like me (who probably won't purchase much DLC anyway) will avoid buying any, just because I don't want to risk anything crazy happening to my stuff.

Anyhow, don't leave. Just go on vacation. Otherwise I'll start a petition.
