Ooh, I know - you could name it, "CYMBOL was not invited to play my new level!"

Store update must be early - Watchmen costumes and stickers up! I didn't know about them but figured I'd go check the LBP add-ons and was pleasantly surprised!

Check out the Rasta Sackboy.

Quote:
Went to Sony Liverpool yesterday to meet up with John McLaughlin, the SCEE producer of LBP GOTY. He told me he still hasn't received a copy of the game yet.

Aside from messing around with Heavy Rain and the Sony wand, I took a look at one of their recent trophy walls. I'd say 60-70% of those awards were for LBP.

And then got hooked up with more LBP goodies, like those mega Sackboys...

An HK pamphlet display for LBP...

And some wicked LBP shirts with Motorstorm Pacific Rift and Pursuit Force.

Also, have fun with the Music Pack today. The Blues and the Techno-ish one are my fave.

Both sizes pictured are plastic models. I can't remember if the wooly Sackboy's going to be sold, lots given away free via YouTube earlier in the year.

The plastic models have a more accurate likeness.

Any word on if Play, Create, and Share will ever be activated?

Also - working on trophies and need help from Blu-Ray.com members...I've created a simple level that needs a few more plays/hearts (as well as hearts for myself) to get trophy. The level is simple, made for kids. My 4 year old daughter told me what she wanted and we planned out the level together - so if you have little kids that play, it is for them. We're still tweaking the end - trying to make a 'dragon' that you can use the paint gun on, but I can't get the thing to 'die' from shooting it.

Level: Save the Princess
Creator: Gonavy34

Thanks...

Oh - and also - I thought I had done all the tutorials but the trophy never popped. Any simple way to go and play through them? There are no more green exclamation points on any tools in my kit...I know I skipped some when I first got the game but don't see a way to go re-do them.

Don't know - seems the "Game of the Year" should have all it's originally promised features available. . .

Strange, should be a simple matter of putting a paint switch on it and then setting "how many" times it needs to be hit to kill it.

It's been a long time, but when you do a tutorial, you often get rewarded with new items - you have to select those as well and do those tutorials too. (Kind of tedious, but if you are going to make a level, it's best to know what tools are available to you.)

Finished my new level - It's called, "The City of Lost Children" (no relation to the movie).

Basically, you go through the level and try to find the children. Obviously, you can simply stroll through the level - or search high and low and look for the hidden rooms.

Any children you have found will appear at the end of the level - any you didn't find will only have a number in it's place (to give you an idea of how many missed.)

I'll post pics later when I release it on Monday. (It was amazingly hard to squeeze every last bit that I wanted into it.)

Thanks to Stephie for beta testing and giving my level a little more focus.

If I recall correctly, when you pull up the popit there is a question mark when there are tutorials to do. Just keep selecting next tutorial once you finish each of them.

P.S. Good luck with the Acing, the level with the big wheel is a tough one that took me longer then the create share tropies.

Yeah, it just might be. Maybe take a few jabs at MM and how difficult it can be to create sometimes.

I still ran into glitches.

As much as I think this game is a tremendous creative outlet for all ages and lots of fun, etc. - I think they often get a free pass by many people and critics with all the glitches they still have (not to mention still not providing certain basic items such as the "play, share and create" counter).

Anyway, I think that could be a funny (and short) level.

Thanks again, Stephie.
