How much customization does the beta allow for the sackboys? Do you have much control over their outfits, and use of the PS Eye, or is it rather limited?

I think the glass block that drops down would be better with only electricity strips on the sides so you get squashed underneath for more death variety. The sponge lift could be more of an upside down lightbulb shape so it's a bit easier to get a useful grip on the sides.

Outfits, premade stickers and so on yes, but a limited amount as you unlock them in the single player levels of which there's only three plus a minigame in the beta. PS Eye support is in. Some community stuff is missing as detailed in the MM blog post a few posts back.

i like those ideas. if i can get back in, ill certainly make those changes. right now ive deleted the game save (after copying it to my SD card of course) and the beta download and redownloading. i might have to wait till my friends delete the account though which might not be till tomorrow as i know one is asleep right now

Dude they updated the site at like 1 PM (PST) saying you needed to be registered because of the amount of emails from outside of Spain they were receiving.

That's one of the two I've favourited. And I should still be the number 1 score for single player.

You need to make those rockets more reliable though, dunno if giving them an exit 'tube' would guide them in the right direction better.

Don't worry though. Rumor has it that they changed the rules again, and were only going to give the codes out to people who had accounts on their site before today, because they realized requiring accounts still won't prevent people outside of Spain from trying to get a code. It's unlikely anyone outside of Spain ever went to that site before today, let alone made an account.

True and true.

I at least tried to be extra careful, going so far as looking up postal codes in Australia for a particular town, and making a username that sounds Australian (named after a particular team of a particular popular sport there).

For anyone else trying, the account you submit must be a Master Account.

And to air_max, yes, it appears they are restricting them to AU account holders, who have had accounts since before today.

well, reinstalling the beta didnt work. im still locked out. guess ill just have to wait and see if it will work after the last of my buddies deletes it off his ps3. kinda a bummer but i still feel super lucky to get in it in the first place. guess ill be keeping an eye out for the US beta just to make sure if i cant get back in.

They only have 500 to give out, and it's already been posted for a while, but it's probably too late. Rumor has it they are ignoring any entries from people with non-Australian accounts, or Australian accounts created today. I'm holding out hope that they only sort the PSN names by country, and don't actually dig any further into the details.

Since it's lunchtime in Oz, I'm assuming the emails should be going out any time now.
