No glitches for me - I completed all levels - no issues.

The water is cool - the levels were well done. MM is always great with the way they design their levels and characters. Somehow, they manage to make the layout feel natural - not pieced together like most user levels (including mine). Of course, if building LBP levels was my job, I expect I'd have more time to make my levels everything I imagined.

However, even though their levels are expertly designed - I find the user created levels often have much more imagination. Even MM has said, "Wow, we didn't even know you could do that!" (with the tools they gave people). I can't wait to see what the community will do with these new effects.

As for me, I have started a new level - The Great Race II - Under the Sea.

On a side note - Who wants to meet up and get that 4 person part completed? I don't have a lot of time, but I wouldn't mind meeting up for 15-20 minutes and getting those prized done.

The HMS Interceptor (4000 points in race) and The Bends (7000 points diving challenge) are a proper-good challenge!

Huge tip for Ace The Kraken!!!
[Show spoiler]You don't need to fight the ships, they're just there to annoy you for a preset amount of time before the Kraken replaces them. Start the level on the 1st floor cannons shooting before the ships appear and you should disable their vertical cannons, don't destroy the ships completely as they're no danger to you now and even return in this disabled state after a Kraken wave.

Ah cool - maybe I can ACE it now.

Thanks,

Is it just the level kit that has the water?

If you want to have the Water as a tool to use in your level creating, you have to purchase the Level Kit, which gives you five PotC levels to play/collect new materials, stickers, tools and a few costume pieces.

If creating isn't your thing, and you don't care about the PotC levels, you'll have to wait for online users who did purchase the kit to create levels with Water to see what it's like.

I'm creating a new level using it - but mine won't be done for some time - however, I expect a LOT of real quick/simple levels to come out very soon (people trying to get trophies ect.). I wouldn't expect any REALLY good levels using Water for a few days/weeks.

There's already a load of user-made water levels. Only played one really good one so far though. Adventure 2 or something.

Levels were pretty cool. Right as I joined PjK in a game my kid woke up! No multiplayer attempt yet.

I have my water idea, but I want to finish my other level first, but I'm afraid if I publish it. it will get removed because of copyrights and trade marks.

Well, at least you can now save it to a thumb drive - so even if (worst case scenario), they take it down and then go that extra step further (as they did early on when LBP was released), delete it off your moon - you can still have a copy saved.

I worked a bit more on my level with water (The Great Race II - Under the Sea), but it was slow going and the themometer is already almost half way full and I have about 20 seconds worth of gameplay. I really wish they had increased themometer space.

Anyway, I Aced the Kraken thanks to the hint at the top of the page.

Merry Christmas, bud.

By the way, since I lost my game saves a the other month - it seems I also lost my special items (infinity portal, global light changer).

I actually came upon the infinity portal (provided by MM) accidentally when I first found it several months ago - but was extreme glad I did.

Now, I can't find it and STILL cannot find the official level to get the Global Light changer.

Does ANYBODY know how to find these in the game???! I don't understand why they wouldn't put it with their other store content and have it listed as "free".

Their search function continues to be horrible and I forget what special symbols you are supposed to use to get the search function to work better/properly.

I republished "Snow Trek 2". I did a few changes, added some more things. I like it a lot more now. Check it out if anyone has time and let me know what you think.

Global Lighting Object is in Creator Pack 1 which may appear in the second page of the LittleBigStore.

Thanks, I actually figured it out soon after.

I downloaded the "free" Creator Pack 1.

Of course, there was nothing new in my popit.

I guess, you have to download the creator pack, then open it and "play" the quick levels/tuturials to acquire the new object. I really wish it would simply show up in your popit with a question mark that required you to play the video like all the other creation tools.

I had no idea about one item that was in there - unless you follow their website (or sites like this), you'd never know there was a new feature available.

I looked at their "news/updates" page in the actual game, I don't think they've updated that since about six months ago - and even that was just about some user created Survival Challenges. They should REALLY list "updates" in there.

Ok, end rant.

Thanks Shin-Ra.

Yeah, it's funny, now with a lot of these new tools (tetherless jetpack, infinity portal, global lighting, water, etc.) - it really helps out.

Remember the days when we had to use blue gas or blue glass to stand in a water?

My old Winter level I had to use black rubber to try and have a transition from night to day. I may go back and actually put an actual light transition there.

Was Snow Trek 2 the Man Vs. Wild homage level? My kid and I found that one funny.

I'm busy working on the last part of The Great Race II - not much left on the themometer.

Cannot seem to find all the prizes on the Cursed Bay level. I am at 92%, and I got the 5 you get from the player part.

Now I am only missing prize #34 on Cursed Bay...

GOT IT! 100% collected!

I found the PotC levels to be some of the easiest for finding 100% treasure. Just took a complete play through for all the stickers and one more play of each level.

And then more plays for the trickier trophy challenges.

You can release that tied-down ship underwater then backtrack to start the 4000-points race to cut out a significant chunk of time. But it's possible without shortcuts!

That is how I did the time run. Best I have done on survival is a whopping 800 or so points.

I wish new trophies pushed you over 100% instead of lowering the % of what you already have until you get the new ones.
