I'm about half way done . . . it's taking forever!
Did you see that the create materials was for the PSP version?

Thank you very much - yes, they typcially take a month or two of working off and on; and can be frustrating when something won't work right and you get stuck. This one has taken particularly long because of all the beta testing with the effects. This level has been quite painful to make - but fun.

Yeah, it's a secret for now - but once I release my level I'll share with everyone.

Hmmmm, I read it - I don't see it mentioning the create material is PSP specific.

I'm at work now, so I can't re-read the actual post to be sure.

I certainly hope that is not the case - I've been complained for a while the PSP version has been getting all the new creator content - which bums me out. I need new materials!

The Island Themed pack is PSP only. The Incredibles is for the PS3.

The release makes it sound like it's going to be a "Level Pack" like the History Pack.

The History Pack was one large level that had buildings, stickers, building materials etc - you simply walked through it and viewed the items they built and as you walked by them you would collect the materials used to make it.

I think the Incredibles level will similar. Don't think it will have actual levels to play (like the MGS/Pirates packs).

If you download the new "Hessian Fragrances", go to customise Hands and select them, you get a new animation spraying or slapping the stuff on.

A useless feature - but as always, adorable.

Fun little free April Fool's gift.

Don't forget everyone - this is a limited time only give away, so if you're a collector of these things - you better hurry.

Super excited for new create materials next week!

Well, I've decide my level will have to be split into two levels. . . maybe three - the effects kill the thermo.

But, I'm at least almost done with the first Dream Catcher level. Good thing with the second level is it won't take nearly as long to make since I already spent the time creating the effects.

It was difficult not including all the effects I made into the first level - but I think it would have come off as "Look at me!" instead of fitting correctly into the storyline.

Looking forward to the new pack being released this week so I can see if I get anything new for part two.

Hope to release the level this week - "The Dream Catcher, Part 1, Enter the Dream".

Anyone know how to or already has a small enterance? I've played levels that tell you how to make things small useing the emitter, but I can never get it to work. I need a small enterance not a check point. Anyone have one they can make a quick prize with it and throw it in a blank level?

Why do you need it small?

What goes wrong when you try to use the emitter? - Have you tried to attach it to a piece of material, capture it, then emit it and shrink the material (along with the Entrance Portal)?

I need it small for looks. Is that how you do it? You have to attach it to material first? I've always tried to capture it by it's self.

Either way should work - but attaching it to a material should definitely work.

As for looks - if you don't want it to be seen, you could simply place a "decoration" over it (not a sticker - a decoration). That's the simplest way to cover it.

My new level starts out that way. I have some kind of Egyption looking plate on the wall along with some candles.

No, I've been tweeking my "Sack Sparrows Pirate Ship" level. I don't like how the enterance sits on the first little boat. The camera keeps messing up cause your so close to the water. I'm trying to fix all this.

Hmmm, didn't notice camera issues on that level.

Funny, I just noticed I spelled it "Egyption", hehe.

Man, I keep getting side-tracked every night. I'm so bummed that I haven't had time to finish my level. I still have "part 2" to do - but I'll probably wait to see if Part 1 does well. If it doesn't get a few thousand plays, I will probably just play something else for a while and get to it at a later time.

Then again, if the Incredibles pack has some really cool things - I might get sucked in either way - I'm a sucker for getting wrapped up playing with new create materials.

Well, I'll be done this weekend with my level - part 1 anyway! Yikes! I just haven't had time to work on it - I'll start and get 10 minutes and then not be able to work on it for the rest of the night - kids, wife, work etc. But I'm so close - with almost no thermometer space that I have to end soon no matter what.

I have made more - but all the other created effects will have to be in part two - which is kind of cool, cause the effects I had planned/made for later in the level are, for the most part, cooler than the effects in Part 1 - which is nice cause you always want part 2 to be bigger and better than part 1.

For those of you that helped beta test - there isn't much more than what you played - but the level design has been tweaked quite a bit in some areas really helping to give the level a more "dreamlike" and surreal quality.

Hope to get some more beta testers once it's complete this weekend and I will publish it next Monday.

Hope it does well.
