I did too, especially with LBP2 out this fall. I wonder how much these will be? Right now most of the 5 costume packs are $5.99 I think. Is $9.99 too optimistic?

I also wonder if/what the Marvel levels will have trophies. Might have to buy it just to keep my 100% plat.

Yeah I know the level kit will be the same but a 20 costume kit? Or maybe it will be separated?

Starting July 7th and every other week following, we’ll introduce four different Marvel Costume Packs, each with five different costumes depicting Marvel’s mightiest Super Heroes and most dreaded Super Villains.

They'll probably be sold individually too.

Haha I didn't even see the official blog post. Now I feel like an idiot. I'll for sure get the level kit, might have to pick my favorite costume kit if I want any of those.

I don't think they'll abandon LBP1 real soon. There are still many, many people playing and the game is being given in bundles (at least, I thought I read that) - so, I'd imagine they'll still be releasing DLC. That's what I hoped anyway, glad to see it's a reality.

I'm always in for any kits with creator materials.

Just wish they would have released it in time for 4th of July here in the states when lots of folks have a long work weekend.

And with it being a GH title I'm sure sales are holding steady. And in some places you can get it in a bundle with a controller for $55. So the players are still playing, glad they're still supporting.

Naughty Dog and Media Molecule really spoil us with support

I am hoping I can get some of this LBP DLC cheaper with a Playstation Plus account.

I'd imagine the PSN Store discounts that come with the plus account will be more prominent with first party content. Should be able to eventually.

I know LBP2 will get a visual upgrade (to include a visual upgrade for LBP1 levels - I wonder if LBP1 owners will get this upgrade as well without buying LBP2.

And if so, what are they waiting for?! I want it now!

They won't be patching LBP2's graphics engine into LBP because it's too deeply tied into other aspects of the engine performing a certain way.

Don't see why you would.

I'm assuming at this point that all LBP1 costumes, materials, etc. will transport over to LBP2 (as was reported with the DLC) - so, the only thing that you would be missing out on would be LBP1 transferrable content.

Ok. Too bad (although not unexpected) - really interested to see what the improvements look like on levels I'm familiar with (such as my own).

Wow! These are going to look awesome. Is there any chance they've released other pics of other guys? And did Shin say that there will be dev levels for these Marvel levels?

And of course, while you play through the levels, you’ll collect a huge assortment of Marvel-themed music , objects , materials , stickers , and a special “Rooftop” background to help you CREATE your own dastardly levels. Stay tuned to more details on the Marvel Level Kit next week. Till then…
