So I was playing with some local friends on LBP and got the 3/4 player prize bubbles for the bunker and dancer's court. Also got the salty dog trophy.

My plan of attack for this week:

Tonight: Finish the collector's lair & frozen tundra with my local friends to get the booty master trophy.

Tomorrow - Friday: Start the Metal Gear Solid DLC. Probably will need help from others here for some of the trophies (VR survival, etc.)

Weekend: Start making my own level to publish and get the "create" and other related trophies.

Would anyone like to help me on the Metal Gear Trophies?

I don't think I'm 100% on those (got most of them) - I don't really play for trophies, but if you're going for 100% bubbles and you see me on - feel free to invite me.

Let me know if you have any questions about creating.

Cymbol, how do you create music levels in littlebigplanet? Like I've played some levels where you ride along and listen to a specific track or song.

I want to do something similar for my first level but have the platform move vertically instead of horizontally.

I don't think it's a glitch. Blackmatter just won't move. I tried emitting blackmatter on it's own and it was the same result. It just stays in place. If I figure anything out/ I'll let you know.

Update 1.29 has broken something, and now some levels are unable to load - we are working on a fix for this now! Sorry about that!

Right, we've put a temporary fix in place, bust online levels should load now, but you may still have issues loading levels from your moon.

The culrpit is the ICO sound object - don't use it in your levels until the new patch is out to fix this problem properly! Sorry!
Just a heads up.

I'm thinking we should start with the easiest stuff:

B - Trendsetter - Place a sticker or decoration on another player's sackperson
Jono

B - Party Person - Complete a level online with 3 other players who are on your friends list
Jono

B - Top of the Class - Win a 4-player game
Jono

B - Creator - Build and save a level with the thermometer more than 30% full
Jono, Tron

B - Team Creator - Build and save a level with more than one player with the thermometer more than 30% full
Jono, Tron

B - Publisher - Publish a level
Jono, Tron

S - Dr Frankenstein - Create a living creature with at least 2 eyes, 2 legs or wheels, and a brain
Tron

Also, Jono and Xerios, you can each do this one on your own:
B - Expert Creator - Complete all levels in the tutorials

Homework: Everyone make a list (like Tron's) of levels where you still need to collect prize bubbles and a list of levels you still need to ace. That will make it lots easier to coordinate in future sessions.
Jono, you still need the quick and easy trophies listed above. Call your jam, sir!

Nice to see you have a game plan! If you're moving on to MGS already, here's my list of participants who still need some MGS goodness. Of course I'm always willing to help out if you need a 4th. Speedy Rexicutioner is the only one that 4 of you need, so you 4 should probably do that 1 all at once.

METAL GEAR SOLID DLC

B - Ace Act 3 and Act 4
Cymbol, Jam, Tron

B - Ace Act 5: The Boss
Cymbol, LD, Tron

S - Virtual Survivor - Achieve a score of 3.750 in the VR Survival Challenge
Cymbol, Tron

S - Speedy Rexecutioner - Destroy the REX boss in under 2 mins 30 seconds
Cymbol, Jam, LD, Tron

B - Thrifty Painter - Complete Act 3: The Mission firing less than 125 paintballs
Cymbol, Jam, Tron

B - Metal Gear Solid Booty Master - Collect all of the Metal Gear Solid Prize Bubbles
Cymbol, LD, Tron

(Jono: Not purchased?)

  • Simply set up a contraption (elevator or a cart, or animal) to ride - set the speed so that you have a consistant "pace".
  • Put a switch trigger on the contraption.
  • Place your music notes along track or wall.
  • When the contraption gets near your note(s), it will trigger them to "play".

It's a very tedious process, but then again, anything worthwhile is tedious to make.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

How hard are these trophies?

I would do all the level aceing on your own. It's a lot easier that way.

yeah easier as there is almost always a bit of a lag when playing with others... or crazy chicks that open a basket full of cute and innocent sackboy only to see them die in the doom...

I feel cheated (and a bit stupid) I've just bought all level pack for lbp PSP... and it turns out that level pack does not include actual level... Its very confusing on the store because there is theme pack, level kit and level pack... only the level kit have some new levels.
