Either put the Spawn Gate lower - or place something in the background so he doesn't float back. Hard to say without seeing it.

When gluing, you have to select the direction you want to glue (a welcome update they made a while back). So, when gluing your LED, move it "back" against the object, as if you're trying to move it back a layer - then, glue.

If you are doing that, then I can't imagine why it won't stick - if that is the case, again, I'd have to see it to see if I find anything out of the ordinary.

LBP is strange - sometimes, I'll do things and I think, "Why isn't this working, this should work!" But once in a while, I'll discover that it was something I didn't do right.

Example, I had a fire effect early on in the stage. I'd spawn in, but when I got to that part, the fire wasn't working - happened everytime. Later, I discovered that before that, I had a water level trigger - and the water was putting out the fire.

I'm betting your LED problem is something simple.
Yeah took me forever to remember how to glue. Had to replay the tutorial video cause I forgot. That's probably why the LED aren't staying.

Do you have a headset? If you do that would make it easier to discuss ideas when we are creating in my level.

I'm going to be on tonight probably starting around 8:30 - 9pm est so if I see you on, I'll invite you to show you what I have so far.

I have a head set, but rarely use it cause I have kids, and a wife - and my wife seems to love to sit and talk my ear off at random moments - so I tend not to have it on cause it's "open". And a lot of times, it can be hard to hear people over music, etc.

But I have a keyboard, so I simply type away - don't have to spend 3 minutes using the LBP key pad.

I'll probably be on closer to 10pm EST. If you see and have a question still - just invite.

Have you got any glitched 3D material? It's tricky to work with.

That's okay. I rarely use my headset either. lol

So that's how you type so fast!. Didn't realize LBP had keyboard support. That would make things alot easier.

Okay, if I see you I'll invite. I might tear down everything and restart because like I said before I forgot how to glue things until half way through.

One last, quick recommendation - search for "glitched" levels. These are levels where they show you how to use glitched materials and most times, give you a copy of it. There are some handy tools and some good creating tips sometimes.

Just an idea.

The frozen tundra level is probably the easiest of the wilderness area.

The collector level is all about memorization.

Did you ace all of the score challenges as well? You have to ace them do for the play trophy.

They have some Ok parts - I wasn't a big fan - but some people thought they were awesome. I guess I expected to be "wowed".

There is one car chase level that is very good - although, I had seen that effects used in other community levels, so even that wasn't new for me.

Good - not awesome.

I still need to get 100% on the Marvel items myself. One day - so little time.

WARNING: Glitch levels will NOT be compatible with LBP2, which comes out in 3 short months.

I know you know that already Cymbol, but if you're encouraging others to use glitches, they should know that the glitchy levels they're about to invest their time in will be obsolete very soon.

The car/truck chase level was fun...the others were good, but not OMG awesome. If you don't care about collecting bubbles, you can play the levels with a host who bought them, even if you didn't.

Yeah I read about this sometime ago that glitched levels wouldn't work in LBP 2. But will all the materials, items, decorations, & tools from LBP also be in LBP2?? I'm hoping there's going to be a bigger thermometer in the sequel.

I just finished creating my first level today, it really takes some time to get the hang of it.

I would really appreciate it if some of you would try it and give some feedback, it would be nice to know what I did right and wrong.

The name of it is Burning Sackboys Can't Jump.

I'm not actually a good player myself - I have the guys on this site to help me out.

I tend to spend my time in Create Mode the most. Working hard to get The Dream Catcher II up before I move next month and I'm without my PS3, etc.

Busy, busy.
You're welcome for the comment. In my opinion, Dream Catcher is the most original level I have played so far. So different from anything else, and I appreciate originality. Looking forward to going through Dream Catcher II.

I keep reading different things - I've read no glitched materials will work - then I've read that the new shadow mechanics mess up some glitched material. I think they are saying that the dark material glitch (you can shrink it so it becomes invisible - which is very helpful and has been being used since the beginning of LBP) - with the new shadowing, I think they are saying that the "invisible" materials might show up - which would destroy many levels (at least, the looks of them).

But last I read, they were "working on it". But yeah, that was a good point Stephie made - sorry, forgot that you might not know about that. I personally, am creating for LBP1 - should have considered that. Thanks Stephie.

The Thermo won't be bigger, instead of the "Thermo's within the Thermo" that make it so you can't tell what specifically is affecting your temp - supposedly, that is more fine tuned. The Thermo will "feel" bigger. Hard to explain.

Again, thanks - it's always nice to hear that someone appreciated the countless hours spent. I think anyone who appreciated The Dream Catcher - well, I hope they are impressed by The Dream Catcher II. A lot of beta testing was done for the effects that will be used in the Shadow Realm (which I haven't shown anyone yet).

But it's slow going and complicated.

Thanks for giving the first one a try.

Ahh come on. There easy..No problem. Just take your time. Bunker is the hardest cause you can't take your time when that dam wheel is spinning.
