Thanks Cymbol for coming in and helping me with some stuff. I wasn't planning on working on the camera stuff till the end but it was good of you to show me how it worked.

Plus I got a better understanding on how the motor bolts work (Don't glue the wheels to the floor! ).

But making the dinozord is going to take longer than I thought to get it just right. But I'll get it in the end.

I moved the entry point off to the side so the sackboys just have to walk to the right and then they fall into the interior. I even have arrows pointing the direction they should go!

Yeah, the first rule in creating is: Don't glue your wheels to the floor.

The second rule in creating is: DON'T GLUE YOUR WHEELS TO THE FLOOR!

Trust me, that won't be your last mistake.

Yeah, it's going to take while - I was surprised when you said you thought you'd have it done by Sat, since you seemed to want to have a fairly detailed level (going to the moon, etc.)

I was going to recommend that - but you seemed to want to have them "spawn and drop" in. So, that's what I made - if you are going to have them walk over - I would make the top more detailed - not just an empty rooftop. But as with anything, that's "what I would do" - it's your vision/idea, so do whatever feels right for you.

Sorry I had to leave so suddenly - I was supposed to be somewhere at 915pm and I looked at the clock and it was 912pm!

I didn't mean to rearrange your entry and then just leave you with it - if you didn't like it, I was going to redo your original version (I would never go in and permanently change someone's level and leave - that's why I got rid of those stickers on your vehicle.)

I think you have a decent beginning, but yes, don't be surprised if this level takes a long time to make to the vision you have in your head.

A large part of creating figuring out how to make an idea work. Like getting your vehicle to jump a gap - that seemingly simple task will probably take you hours to get just right - testing, and re-testing. For me, it's kind of fun - about 40% frustration and 60% fun.

Let me know if you find yourself "stuck" again or want any recommendations. Good luck.

Got it, with the wheels.

Yeah, I'm starting to think that I'll have just the dinozord done by sunday now. lol

I'm trying to keep the building to the show version which there isn't anything on the rooftop. I'm guessing you never watched the old power ranger show huh? I'm going to have to put a camera up there so the view is more zoomed out and the people can see the building. Cause I want them to see my stuff that took so long to build.

No problem with having to leave suddenly. I understand.

I think considering all the bad power rangers levels on lbp, so far my level is already better than those! lol

I made a sketch of how I'm going to build and layer the dinozord. I'm finding that a pre-made sketch really helps be out when creating something. I used a sketch to make the building which I thought came out rather well.

Don't know - but doubt it. Besides, I doubt hearts would only count for "new, first time" published levels.

But, they are dropping the "Cool Pages" and revamping how people advertise their levels in LBP2.

Unfortunately, linking the creating to trophies caused a lot of H4H levels etc. and when the game first came out they kind of clogged things up.

I mean, MM themselves even made fun of it - that was the whole story behind the MGS levels.

Besides, I never thought that was very fair. I mean, creating involves 2 things - mechanical intuition and artistic vision - and one of those (art), is opinion based.

Not everyone is at the same level of creating - I know of lot of creating that make amazing levels with crazy architecture and logic - no way I can compete with that. They have thousands creator hearts - me, I have a few hundred.

I put a lot of time and effort into my levels - but I would be very annoyed if I had to get 2,000 creator hearts for a trophy (if I cared about trophies).

Hopefully, MM leave creating to the community and don't make it related to trophies.

Well, got a little bit of work done on Dream Catcher II - starting to FINALLY get to a bit more complicated gameplay/platforming area and to the part where you are actually banished to the Shadow Realm.

I don't know how I always go so overboard - it was supposed to be a quick swim into a cave - now the thermo's almost full and I've barely started the level.

I'll figure something out - I'll probably have to break it into 2 parts - but I'd at least like to have a good introduction to the Shadow Realm before making - "The Dream Catcher III - Escape from the Shadow Realm".

Why Thermo! Why!!!

How many different materials are you using? Course, I'm using like 8 materials so far and I still haven't hit the 30% mark (where you get the creator trophy). And I have like the whole dinozord body done plus some of the decaling. Weird

Oh and the dinozord is coming along great! But the head is going to be the tricky part with all the geometry. Thinking about putting in a wobble to have the head oscillate up and down.

I would agree. Magneto looks like he's going to flip you off in the picture.

I'm waiting on a complete Marvel costume pack. Maybe buy all 4 packs for the price of 3..If not. I might just pick up a couple of the figures seperatly.

They might do something before LBP2 launches, who knows. I had some PSN cards to burn and I got the second costume pack through an Amazon error for $2.

It's funny you mention that, cuz I seriously thought about PM-yelling at you when I signed on a while ago and saw you playing Skate 3!

I'm kinda hoping they'll mega-bundle them too. I'm not in a hurry to own them though...

The Hulk looks a little weird. But I'm thinking they made his torso all plastic-y on purpose. I still like it. Green Goblin looks great!

Green Goblin turned out a lot better than I thought. I think Magneto did too. I got to thinking, if they are putting the Toy Story alien in the LE for LBP2, I wonder how a Toy Story costume pack would work. Buzz would be cool.

Here's the full gang:

Well, looks like there is no way to even finish the level so I can split it in two - (haven't even got to the "Shadow Realm" - which is an issue, since that is in the title of the Level) - so, I've decided I'm going to use the Thermo Cheat.

Hate to do it, cause I never have before (and many times, people seem quite amazed at the amount I am able to fit in my level - which I always thought funny since I always have had to end early due to thermo issues).

I don't know what happened in this one (well, I sort of do), but the thermo doesn't seem to want to come back down with out deleting HUGE chunks of the level - so, I've decided to cheat the Thermo and get almost half my Thermo back.

So take that Thermo!

(Of course, it will cause a delay in building my level as I rework it. )

This thing is taking FOREVER!

Uh, it's where you cheat the thermo. . .

You trick the thermo into believing that whatever you emit (doesn't matter how much or complicated) - that it is only 1 piece of dark matter. So, you can put in parts of your level that would normally take up a quarter of the thermo - and have it count for basically nothing.

It does represent it's own issues - but there are work arounds for those as well. Just learning about it now and seeing how to make it work in my level.
