I also put in (for now) someone else's blue dinozord model just to compare to mine. I'll say now, the difference is night and day. My dinozord alone makes my level the best power ranger level you'll see on LBP!
Well, I'm glad it turned out like you wanted (not always an easy task).

Yes, take a picture (either in play mode or create mode - usually in play so your wires don't show) - then, go to that picture and save it to your PS3 hard-drive. Save it to a USB, and upload it to your computer.

I use webshots to load pictures to forums - not sure what others use/do.

Congrats on your thermometer trick! Even after finishing the dinozord and applying motion to it I'm STILL under the 25% mark on the thermo. Gives me plenty of room to make the hanger section (which I still need to sketch out) and some outdoor scenery.
Very cool - are you still infilitrating some fotress - can't remember what you decided to do - or if it has changed.

Well, the issue is I have to remember there are all levels of players out there - some REALLY good - and some not so great. I try to be very careful and walk that fine line between "difficult" and "frustrating".

A long and difficult level could cause people to quite (many people don't complete these harder levels), and, it can be a downer when you spend so much time creating - and they don't even stay till the end.

I'll have to decide what to do as the creating process continues - many times, I have a very basic idea that blows up - such as the Caverns - that was supposed to be a VERY BASIC and very small part of this level - instead, it ate up almost my entire thermo. But I couldn't help myself, I was just having so much fun detailing it and (hopefully), making it visually compelling.

So, worst case scenario, I break this level into 2 parts - the thermo simply can't handle all the effects I'm putting into one level. It will be a tough choice.

Only problem is - I'm moving soon and I'm hoping I have enough time to at least finish part 2.0 of this level. Not much time left before I have to ship my stuff off!!!!

I'll probably have to do it in create mode even though the wires will show.

I changed my story so it's not the infiltrating rita's castle now because I assumed that the dinozord would use up more of the thermo that it actually did.

So now I'm going to make a hanger alongside the command center interior and that's where all the platforming stuff will be. I'm also going to add the canyon jump I mentioned before as well as some other things.

Yeah, your dinozord would have to use a lot of different materials and emit a lot of effects or something to really use up your thermo.

I've never been good at making vehicles - although, I'm failry proud of one of my early inventions - the Power Ball. (Used it most in my first "The Great Race" - which later became a series I did).

Yeah, they're kind of hard.

Even The Dream Catcher, which was supposed to be more visual and storytelling, have had people saying it was difficult.

However, I do think people have a sense of accomplishment when they they finish (for instance), one of my Puzzle Wheels levels. I give people a "Puzzle Wheel Master" picture when they complete all the Wheels - it's cool to see all the people upload them to the level.

Thanks for playing my levels.

I believe it uses 4 different materials (some of which I used already for other parts in my level), some LEDs, 11 bolts and 1 grab switch.

I'll take a picture of it first thing when I get home.

Ah, very cool. Haha, too bad you can't post the pic of how it looked when you first started! (A blob of material with 4 wheels glued to the ground.)

Came out great.

Now, how are you going to get it to jump a canyon?!

Thanks for the positive feedback! The hardest part was the head since there was not so many straight lines on it. The final version isn't stuck to the ground btw.

I already made a small jump to test. Originally I had rubber wheels and when I landed from the jump half the wheels got crushed so I had to change the wheel material. Now, the wheels work perfectly but I still need to try it with a bigger jump.

Well, my level is starting to glitch here and there - so, between that, and running out of time (moving in a few weeks) - looks like I'll need to end the Shadow Realm very soon.

Probably for the best since I have a knack for going WAAAAY overboard on the length and scale of my levels.

Hopefully, I can finish this in some fashion in the next week or so and since I'll be moving etc., I probably won't have enough time to do The Dream Catcher III before LBP2 comes out - so looks like I'll just continue in LBP2.

My goal - finish "The Dream Catcher II - Shadow Realm" (hopefully, get a few of you to beta test next week).

And then, after I move and get LBP2 - do, "The Dream Catcher III - Shadow Casting".

Of course, I might take a break in between - it may be impossible to resist making a "Puzzle Wheels III - Wheely Wacked!" in LBP2. Already have several ideas and can imagine some fun things. Puzzle Wheels + bouncy pads? MWUAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, LBP is very picky and sometimes, a little too literal in it's physics.

Like when all I wanted was a piston to move something - it kept breaking, so, I had to make the base it was attached to larger - so it would "support" the weight. Very strange. Much like your rubber wheels breaking under the weight of you large DinoZord.

Like I said, LBP can be tricky to work with - and sometimes, it acts in unpredictable ways and glitches for no reason at all.

Last night, I beta played my new level and when I came to a vine I created - it was upside down. In create mode it was fine. So, I redid the rod and played through again - and, it's fine now.

Sometimes, LBP can drive me crazy.

Your levels are amazing. I invite my PSN friends to play the levels and they love it too.

They are a bit hard but you are right there is a satisfaction at the end when you finish it.

It takes a while to finish your levels as well and then the next thing you know so much time as passed

Keep up the good work

So way back I set a goal of finishing my level my August 27th because I am moving during that weekend. Well considering, how long it took to complete just my dinozord the chances of finishing my level by then seem pretty slim.

So, this morning I made about 10 empty levels and published them and I'm calling out to the blu-ray LBP community to please heart me and my levels so I can finally get that create trophy (and thus the platinum)!

The names of my levels are:

-Empty Level 1
-Empty Level 2
-Empty Level 3
-Empty Level 4
-Empty Level 5
-Empty Level 6
-Empty Level 7
-Empty Level 8
-Empty Level 9
-Empty Level 10

I would appreciate very much if my friends on here and others can help me out. If anyone needs help hearting their levels I will do so in return. Don't worry CYMBOL, I'm still planning on finishing that power ranger level after I'm settled in the new place. All that hard work won't go for nothing
